The multi-location FMC Americas 2017 competition is announced for October 15th, the day after Mini Minnesota Fall 2017, and there will be a location for this competition in the same room at the New Brighton Community Center. This essentially acts as a second day of competing after Mini Minnesota Fall 2017.
If you wish to compete in FMC Americas 2017, you will need to register for this competitions separately. To register, please visit the registration page on the FMC Americas website, and make sure to select "Minneapolis, Minnesota" as your location. After registering, you can submit your FMC Americas registration fee through the link, and your registration will be manually approved soon after that.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
