Registration

[1) This step is ONLY necessary for newcomers and competitors without a WCA account: Creation of a WCA-account]
2) Register for the competition using the registration form.

If you have registered and the competitor limit has been reached, you will receive a spot on the waiting list. You will be notified via E-Mail once a spot for you frees up. If there is a free spot, the first person on the waiting list will be contacted and has to reply within 72 hours to get accepted to this competition. Failing to reply will lead to a removal from the registration waiting list.

Registration Fees

• 1 Day: 8€
• 2 Days: 15€

Payment of the registration fee at the venue on the day of the competition!

Reconfirmation of attendance

Registered competitors have to reply to a confirmation email which will be sent out on September 15th. Failing to reply within one week will remove the competitor from the list of accepted competitors, and allow the first person on the waiting list to take their spot.

For guests

Guests do NOT have to register separately. Guest registration and payment (5€ per guest) is done at the venue.

Wenn das Teilnehmerlimit bereits erreicht wurde, erhältst du einen Platz auf der Warteliste. Danach erhälst du eine E-Mail, sobald ein Platz für dich frei werden sollte. Sobald ein Platz frei wird, wird die erste Person auf der Warteliste kontaktiert, ob sie noch am Wettbewerb teilnehmen will. Der Teilnehmer muss innerhalb von 72 Stunden antworten, um akzeptiert zu werden. Falls wir keine Antwort erhalten, wird der Teilnehmer von der Warteliste entfernt.

Rückmeldung

Angemeldete Teilnehmer müssen auf eine Bestätigungs-Email antworten, die am 15. September verschickt wird. Wer sich nicht innerhalb von einer Woche meldet, wird von der Teilnehmerliste gestrichen und durch die/den erste/n auf der Warteliste ersetzt.

Gäste

Gäste müssen sich NICHT separat anmelden. Die Zahlung der Eintrittsgebühr (5€ pro Gast) erfolgt ebenfalls vor Ort.

Newcomer information

If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:

• According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
• All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
• Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
• Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.

Feel free to contact the organizers via mail if you have any uncertainties.

Informationen für Neulinge

Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:

• Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e)). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
• Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
• Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer-Anleitung sowie das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
• Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.

Bei Unklarheiten kannst du dich gerne per Mail an die Organisatoren wenden.

The next train station is 'Unterhaching Bahnhof' which has sufficient connections to the central train station of Munich as well as to the national railway system. From the Unterhaching train station it's about 15 minutes to the venue by foot. There are also a lot of free parking spots directly next to the Hachinga Halle (venue) for competitors travelling by car.

There are some hotels near the venue:

• Hotel Demas Garni, 750m to the venue

• NH Hotel München Unterhaching, 750m to the venue

• Holiday Inn Unterhaching, 1,8km to the venue

• Fresh Inn Unterhaching, 1,9 km to the venue

Other than that, there are also many cheap hotels in the area of Munich.

Food

Directly next to the venue is a pizzera and an asian restaurant. A super market (Penny) is about 10 minutes away from the venue by foot as well as a lot more restauraunts directly at the local train station.

Die nächste Zuganbindung für die Munich Open 2019 ist der Bahnhof Unterhaching. Der Bahnhof hat regelmäßige Verbindungen ins Münchner Zentrum und zum nationalen Fernverkehr. Von dort sind es ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg zur Hachinga Halle. Vor Ort gibt es auch ausreichend Parkplätze, falls man mit dem Auto anreist.

In Unterhaching und Umgebung gibt es einige Hotels, beispielsweise:

Direkt gegenüber der Veranstaltungshalle gibt es eine Pizzeria und ein asiatisches Restaurant. Ebenfalls befindet sich in ca. 10 Minuten geh-Entfernung ein Supermarkt (Penny). Am Unterhachinger Bahnhof befinden sich viele weitere Restaurants.
