There is a competitor limit of 130 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is €15 (Euro).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators can attend paying an entry fee of €5 (Euro).

Registration

2) Register for the competition using the registration form.
3) Pay the registration fee (15€ per competitor) via PayPal.

If you have registered and paid the registration fee and the competitor limit has been reached, you will receive a spot on the waiting list. You will be notified via E-Mail once a spot for you frees up.
Once registered competitors cancel their registration, people on the waiting list will be accepted in order of their complete registration until two days before the competition takes place. Afterwards, no further persons will be accepted and everyone on the waiting list who didn't obtain a competitor spot will receive a full refund.
Registered competitors may also cancel their registration and will get 50% refund if done at least one week before registration closes.
Competitors may request changes to their registration (adding or removing events) by email up to two days before the competition starts.

For guests

Guests do NOT have to register separately. Guest registration and payment (5€ per guest) is done at the venue.

Wenn das Teilnehmerlimit bereits erreicht wurde und deine Anmeldung vollständig ist (mit Zahlung), erhältst du einen Platz auf der Warteliste. Danach erhältst du eine E-Mail, sobald ein Platz für dich frei werden sollte.
Bis zwei Tage vor dem Wettbewerb rücken Personen auf der Warteliste in Reihefolge ihrer vollständigen Anmeldung nach, sobald ein angemeldeter Teilnehmer seine Anmeldung storniert. Danach werden keine weiteren Anmeldungen akzeptiert und Personen, die sich noch auf der Warteliste befinden, erhalten eine volle Rückerstattung der Teilnahmegebühren.
Angemeldete Teilnehmer können ihre Anmeldung stornieren und erhalten bis eine Woche vor dem Ende des Anmeldezeitraums 50% der Anmeldegebühr rückerstattet.
Teilnehmer können bis zwei Tage vor dem Wettbewerb eine Änderung ihrer Anmeldung (d.h. Hinzufügen und Entfernen von Events) per E-Mail anfragen.

Gäste

Gäste müssen sich NICHT separat anmelden. Die Zahlung der Eintrittsgebühr (5€ pro Gast) erfolgt ebenfalls vor Ort.

Newcomer information

If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:

  • According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
  • All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
  • Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
  • Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.

Informationen für Neulinge

Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:

  • Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e)). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
  • Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
  • Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor dem Wettbewerb mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer-Anleitung sowie das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
  • Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.

Bei Unklarheiten kannst du dich gerne per Mail an die Organisatoren wenden.

The next train station is 'Unterhaching Bahnhof' which has sufficient connections to the central train station of Munich as well as to the national railway system. From the Unterhaching train station it's about 15 minutes to the venue by foot. There are also a lot of free parking spots directly next to the Hachinga Halle (venue) for competitors travelling by car.

Other than that, there are also many cheap hotels in the area of Munich.

Food

Directly next to the venue is a pizzera and an asian restaurant. A super market (Penny) is about 10 minutes away from the venue by foot as well as a lot more restauraunts directly at the local train station.

Die nächste Zuganbindung für die Munich Summer Open 2020 ist der Bahnhof Unterhaching. Der Bahnhof hat regelmäßige Verbindungen ins Münchner Zentrum und zum nationalen Fernverkehr. Von dort sind es ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg zur Hachinga Halle. Vor Ort gibt es auch ausreichend Parkplätze, falls man mit dem Auto anreist.

In Unterhaching und Umgebung gibt es einige Hotels, beispielsweise:

Darüber hinaus gibt es im Großraum München zahlreiche weitere günstige Hotels.

Verpflegung

Direkt gegenüber der Veranstaltungshalle gibt es eine Pizzeria und ein asiatisches Restaurant. Ebenfalls befindet sich in ca. 10 Minuten geh-Entfernung ein Supermarkt (Penny). Am Unterhachinger Bahnhof befinden sich viele weitere Restaurants.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
