This competition is the third iteration of Nepal Open (Nepali National Championship) and is open to competitors of all nationalities. However, only Nepalese participants will be eligible for prizes and titles.

There is no competitor limit.
The base registration fee for this competition is Rs.300 (Nepalese Rupee).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Payment sessions will be held at the venue from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM on the first day i.e. 23rd November and from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM on the second day i.e. 24th November.

Registration Fee
Base Registration: Rs. 300
Each Additional Event: Rs. 75The base registration is inclusive of one event.

If you are taking part in five events, your registration fee will include

Total= Rs. 600Payment Guidelines:
1. Participants must compulsorily pay their registration fee before competing.
2. Registrants are encouraged to pay their registration fee before the day of the competition either in a meetup or by meeting any of the organizers personally.
3. On mutual understanding, individuals may also pay registration fees on behalf of other registrants.
4. If a participant is unable make it to the venue within the given time, they must either pay their registration fee prior to the day of the competition or ask another person to pay on their behalf.भुक्तानी निर्देशिका:

For those of you new to cubing, WELCOME!
We wanted to let you know this event is perfectly fine for cubers of ANY age and experience. We just ask you know a couple things before coming to compete...
First, please be familiar with the WCA Regulations, found here:

Of course, those regulations contain a lot of legalese, so we have a video made specifically for new cubers, just to show them the basics of competing. This video will explain most of what any cuber competing for the first time will need to know.

FAQs
Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.
Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!
Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to Cubecomps.com to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.
Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.
Q: I want to attend, or I have friends/family who want to attend, but not compete. Do they need to pay as well?
A: No. All spectators are free to view the competition at no cost. There is payment only to compete. But in some cases, venue will be having restriction to allow spectators depending on the competition.
Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: HECK YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!

By Air
The nearest airport is Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) which is 26 kilometers away from the venue. Mayur Yatayat* buses are availble at the airport gate, which go up to Dhulikhel. The venue is approximately 800 meters away from the '28-kilo' bus stop in Dhulikhel.

Please ensure that you check the location of the venue on Google Maps prior to the date of the competition. If you require offline map services during your travel, please download maps.me on your phone and save an offline map of the Central Development Region.
By Land
(From Kathmandu and Lalitpur)
1. From Koteshwor
From Koteshwor, you can find buses enroute to Dhulikhel. Please get off at a bus stop named '28-kilo' at Dhulikhel, which is approximately an hour away. The venue is in a walking distance from there. You will be able to see indicators leading up to the venue upon arrival at the bus stop.
Total Cost: Rs. 45 (Rs. 30 for students)
2. From Ratnapark
Buses to Dhulikhel can be found at Old Buspark (Ratnapark Buspark). Please get off at a bus stop named '28-kilo' at Dhulikhel, which is approximately one and a half hours away. The venue is in a walking distance from there. You will be able to see indicators leading up to the venue upon arrival at the bus stop.
Total Cost: Rs.50 (Rs. 30 for students)
3. From Ring Road
Mayur Yatayat buses are available from any point in Ring Road. Please get off at a bus stop named '28-kilo' at Dhulikhel. The venue is in a walking distance from there. You will be able to see indicators leading up to the venue upon arrival at the bus stop.
Maximum Cost: Rs. 60 (Rs. 40 for students)

4.From Bhaktapur
Get on a bus to Dhulikhel from Araniko highway. Please get off at a bus stop named '28-kilo' at Dhulikhel. The venue is in a walking distance from there. You will be able to see indicators leading up to the venue upon arrival at the bus stop.
Maximum Cost: Rs.40 (Rs. 25 for students)
Returning to Kathmandu on Day 2
The organizing team will manage transportation from Kathmandu University premises to Ratnapark on the second day. The bus will leave at 5:45 P.M. Those willing to use this service will be required to pay their costs before that.
The Maximum being 60.

Hotel Galaxy
Hotel Galaxy has offered reduced rates for competitors of Nepal Open 2018. The hotel is approximately half an hour away from the venue.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
