This competition is the fifth iteration of the Nepali National Championship and is open to competitors of all nationalities.
However, only Nepalese participants will be eligible for Prizes and Titles.

There is a competitor limit of 200 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is Rs.350 (Nepalese Rupee).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of Rs.450 (Nepalese Rupee).


Registration Fee
Each Additional Event: Rs. 80

The base registration is inclusive of one event.

Example:
If you are taking part in five events, your registration fee will include

  1. For Online Registrants:
    Rs. 350 (Base Registration)
    4 x Rs. 80 (Additional Events)
    Total= Rs. 670

  2. For On-The-Spot Registrants:
    Rs. 450 (Base Registration)
    4 x Rs. 100 (Additional Events)
    Total= Rs. 850

Payment Procedure
Each participant is required to pay a registration fee to take part in the event. This fee contributes to covering venue expenses, materials, and other event-related costs.

Payment Options:
1. eSewa: Payments can be conveniently made through the eSewa app. Make sure your eSewa account is active and ready for transactions.

  1. Cash (On-Site): You can also make payments in cash at the registration desk on the day(s) of the event, during registration hours.

How to Pay via eSewa:
1. Open the eSewa app on your mobile device.
2. Select the "Send Money" option.
3.Enter the payment phone number (9860906361) Krishal KC provided for the event.
4. Enter the exact registration fee amount.
5. In the remarks section, include your Full Name and the Events you have registered for to ensure the payment is correctly identified and also if you are sending from bank please take a screenshot of statement and send us on whatsapp (9860906361).
Note Make sure to follow these instructions carefully to avoid any issues with your registration!

Payment Guidelines:
1. Participants must compulsorily pay their registration fee before competing.
2. Registrants are encouraged to pay their registration fee before the day of the competition either in a meetup or by meeting any of the organizers personally.
3. On mutual understanding, individuals may also pay registration fees on behalf of other registrants.
4. If a participant is unable to make it to the venue within the given time, they must either pay their registration fee prior to the day of the competition or ask another person to pay on their behalf.

Esewa (Preferred): Payments can be made through Esewa. Ensure you have an Esewa account set up and ready for transactions.
Cash on Site: Payments during the day of the event at the registration desk.
Bank Transfer: Bank details for direct transfer can be provided upon request. Please contact the organizers for more information.

For those of you new to cubing, WELCOME!

We wanted to let you know this event is perfectly fine for cubers of ANY age and experience. We just ask you know a couple things before coming to compete...

First, please be familiar with the WCA Regulations, found here:

We have a video made specifically for new cubers, just to show them the basics of competing. This video will explain most of what any cuber competing for the first time will need to know.

FAQs

Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.

Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!

Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to Cubecomps.com to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.

Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.

Q: I want to attend, or I have friends/family who want to attend, but not compete. Do they need to pay as well?
A: No. All spectators are free to view the competition at no cost. There is payment only to compete. But in some cases, venue will be having restriction to allow spectators depending on the competition.

Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: HECK YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!

The nearest airport, Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), is approximately 10 kilometers from the venue. For any additional assistance, please contact the organizers.

By Public Transportation

There are several routes to reach the venue using public transportation. Follow these steps:

  1. Reach one of the following major bus stops in Kathmandu Valley:
    Ratnapark
    Kalanki
    Balkhu

  2. Take a public bus, micro-van, or tempo heading towards Ravibhawan.
    Get off near the Ravibhawan Chowk (intersection).

Walk approximately 5 minutes uphill towards NATHM.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
