Information

This competition is part of the CubingUSA New England Championship 2024! Podium winners and champions of each events will be recognized at the main competition, two weeks later in Providence.

This competition is open to all competitors, but only competitors who are residents of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine are eligible to win the title of New England Champion.

The only events at this competition will be 3x3x3 Multiple Blindfolded, 3x3x3 Fewest Moves, 4x4x4 Blindfolded, and 5x5x5 Blindfolded. First-time competitors are welcome, however we will not be holding the normal speedsolving events, and so you may prefer to attend a different competition, such as the main championship two weeks later.

CubingUSA New England Quiet Championship 2024 is open to all competitors. However, the title of New England Champion in each event will be restricted to competitors from Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. In order to be eligible to win a title, you must log in to the CubingUSA website with your WCA account and select your home state prior to the start of the competition. After the competition has ended, all regional champions will be required to prove residency in order to claim their titles and prizes.

This competition is organized by Cube New England, a non-profit organization dedicated to the growth of speedcubing in New England.

We are looking for volunteers to staff this competition! Please fill out this form if you are interested.

We are especially looking for volunteers who are not competing at this competition. As a perk for this, non-competing staff for CubingUSA New England Quiet Championship will have their registration fee for CubingUSA New England Championship refunded.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
