The registration fee for this competition is $15.00. The WCA Stripe payment system is being used for this competition. You will be prompted to pay following registration. You are not considered registered until you compete. Any requested changes to registration before the deadline will be honored before registration is closed.
If you paid but don't see your name on the registration list within 48 hours, please email the organizers.
You must register and pay online to compete. No at-the-door registrations or payments will be accepted under any circumstances. Spectators may attend for free; please indicate how many guests you will bring during registration.
Because the date of this competition is near, there will unfortunately be NO REFUNDS if you are no longer able to attend. However, we encourage you to contact us if you cannot attend so someone on the waitlist can take your spot. We want to allow as many people to compete as possible.
Waitlist
There will be a 20 competitor waitlist. We will not close registration until the 20 competitor waitlist is full. If you would like to join the waitlist, register and pay like normal. Payment is required to secure your spot on the waitlist.
If a competitor drops out, we will email the next person on the waitlist. You then have 48 hours to confirm your attendance before we move onto the next competitor.
If you do not make it off the waitlist by May 11, 2018 then your registration fee will be refunded.

However, there is ample parking on the various side streets around the church building. We encourage you to observe all posted parking regulations to avoid tickets.
Please enter through the red double doors. The competition will be on the first floor to the right as you walk in. The side room for 4x4 Blindfolded and 5x5 Blindfolded will be held in a smaller room on the second floor. There will be signs.
The closest airport is Newark Liberty International Airport, which is about a 25 minute drive from the venue. There are hotels and fast-food restaurants nearby.
All Competitors
A few days leading up to the competition, you will receive an email with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. You will also receive judging assignments. Please note that everyone is expected to help only during the events they are registered for, and everyone need only help for one group per event.
If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.
New Competitors
For those of you new to cubing, WELCOME!
We wanted to let you know this event is perfectly fine for cubers of any age and experience. We just ask you know a couple things before coming to compete...
First, please be familiar with the WCA Regulations, found here:
https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/regulations/
Of course, those regulations contain a lot of legalese, so we have a video made specifically for new cubers, just to show them the basics of competing. This video will explain most of what any cuber competing for the first time will need to know.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPL3eV-A0ww&t=2s
Q&A:
Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: Yes, you are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete.
Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page a couple of days after the competition finishes. Live results will be posted on cubecomps.com. This is also where you will find information about 2nd and 3rd rounds of events.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
