Covid-19 Safety
Note: All of these regulations are subject to change based on new guidance from Boston University, and local/federal governments. The finalized guidelines will be included in a pre-competition email about a week before the competition.
All competitors and guests will be required to wear a mask anytime they are inside the venue. The only exception is for eating or drinking, which we ask is done quickly. Having a water bottle nearby is not an excuse to not be wearing a mask.
There is no limitations on guests, competitors may bring as many guests as they like and spectators may attend without being a guest of a competitor.
Venue entrance policy:
- All attendees (competitors and spectators) must show valid proof of at least one of the following two requirements to be allowed in the venue:

To clarify, an individual is only considered fully vaccinated if they have received their second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or their only dose of a single-dose vaccine (J&J) more than two weeks before the competition. Any dose received after Saturday, May 14th, 2022 is insufficient for entrance to the competition.
OR
2) They tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours (3 days) of the competition. The date when the test is conducted is what matters, not the date when the results are received. Any test conducted earlier than Wednesday, May 22nd is insufficient for entrance to the competition. At home tests are NOT sufficient for entrance.
Waiver
All competitors under the age of 18 must fill out a waiver to compete. Please print out the waiver and turn it on the first day you are competing. The link to the waiver is below:

Groups and Staffing Assignments:
Groups for this competition can be found at the link below.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-M0viGmnwW8Rf07iUDxvjWsPADq_cIEu/view?usp=sharing
In addition to competing, everyone will be required to help out in either judging, or for more experienced competitiors/staff, scrambling and running as well. These assignments will be on a lanyard that competitors can pick up at the door.
How to read your nametag:
-A single number means you are competing in that group. If you miss your group for an event, you will not be allowed to compete later, unless a scheduling error was made on our part.
-A letter followed by a number means you are doing a task for that group. S means scrambling, R means running, J means judging. These tasks are mandatory and we reserve the right to disqualify you from some or all of your events if you do not complete your tasks.
We will be running a judging tutorial along with the competitor tutorial at the beginning of each day, and at the end of lunch of each day. If you do not know how to judge, that is a great place to learn. If you would like to learn beforehand, we would recommend watching Cyotheking's competitor tutorial, as that also goes over some of judging.

Live results will be posted day of to WCA Live.
