This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors must be familiar with the WCA Regulations. If you are new to competing, please refer to the Competitor Responsibilities tab.
All net proceeds will go to Engineers Without Borders, a group of engineers who benefit underserved communities.

There is a competitor limit of 110 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $25 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 95% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Please keep in mind that registrations are approved manually after payment, so your registration may not be approved immediately.
Your registration is not complete until your registration fee has been paid.

If the competitor limit of 110 has been reached, you can still register and pay the registration fee to secure a spot on the waitlist. During the registration period, any competitor can cancel their registration and allow the first person on the waitlist to take their spot. If you find that you cannot make it to the competition after registering, please contact us so that we can maximize attendance.
All registrants still on the waitlist after the registration period will have their registrations deleted, and will be fully refunded.

Michael Nielsen won with an average of 7.55 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Zayn Khanani finished second (7.97) and Hassan Khanani finished third (8.08).

For First-Time Competitors
All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a basic overview of the rules. In addition, please read this document before coming to the competition.
For All Competitors
When you arrive, you will receive a card with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging/scrambling/running assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for. The card will look like the following:
If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.

Airport: The closest airport from the venue is the Norfolk Internation Airport (ORF) which is a 10-15 minute drive from the Webb.
Food: There are several dining options at the Webb and surrounding the ODU campus. The Webb includes Chick-Fil-A, Subway, Starbucks, Steak 'n Shake, and Panda Express.
NOTE: All of the food locations at the Webb are cashless and only allows payment by card. Please plan accordingly.
Parking:
- There is a free parking garage at the 49th Street Stadium Garage (4904 Bluestone Ave, Norfolk, VA 23508).
- Please DO NOT park in the reserved spaces located on the first floor of the garage.
- After parking in the garage, walk across 49th Street and keep walking ahead until you see the first staircase to your right as described in the graphic below.
- The staircase would allow you to enter the Webb and once you enter inside, the North/Center Cafeteria would be up ahead.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
