Stanley Chapel won with a single solve of 18.01 seconds in the 3x3x3 Blindfolded event. Graham Siggins finished second (22.49) and Mark Boyanowski finished third (27.00).
World records: Graham Siggins 3x3x3 Multi-Blind 59/60 59:46 (single); Stanley Chapel 4x4x4 Blindfolded 1:06.23 (single).
African records: Timothy Lawrance 3x3x3 Fewest Moves 25 (single) and 3x3x3 Fewest Moves 23 (single).

Competition
This competition is only holding blindfolded events, Fewest Moves, 3x3x3 With Feet, and Clock. There will be no "standard" speedsolving events like 2x2 or 3x3. There will be other competitions in the area with more standard events if those are what you prefer.
The only events Friday evening are Attempt 1 of 3x3x3 Multiple-Blindfolded and Attempt 1 of Fewest Moves. If you are not participating in these events you do not need to show up on Friday.
Registration Fee
There is a $25 registration fee for the event, payable through the WCA Stripe payment system. Your registration will not be confirmed (moved from the waiting list) until payment has been completed.
Please note that even after payment, registrations need to be manually approved before appearing on the registration list.
There is a 30 competitor limit to the competition. Registration closes at the end of the day on November 1st. We will grant 50% refunds to those who let us know before November 1st, but no refunds are granted after that date.
This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations. If you are new to competing, you may want to look at CubingUSA's Competitor Tutorial.
Lunch
There are a variety of food option in the Memorial Union. These options include Panda Express, Togo's (sandwhiches), and Joe's Burgers. There are a couple other cafe style restaurants as well as a small convenient store style shop. Of course, you are also welcome to go elsewhere on or off campus for lunch.

FOR FIRST-TIME COMPETITORS:
There are multiple things a first-timer must know before competing. All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. There is a video here for the basic overview of the rules.

ALL COMPETITORS:
All competitors are expected to help at this competition. For each event you sign up for, you will be assigned to help out for at least one group of that event. If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.
Venue
This competition will be held at the OSU Memorial Union in the Journey Room (104) which is located in the East section on the first floor.

On weekends, permits are NOT required to park in commuter parking lots. These lots are marked on the map found here. Unfortunately, payment and meters are still required and enforced. More parking information can be found here. NOTE: Do not park in spaces marked for resident, reserved, dedicated, and service parking. These spaces require a permit at all times.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
