How do I register

• You need to pay in advance the registration fee in order to complete your registration. No registrations will be accepted without payouts.

2. After registration you'll be able to see the button to pay the €18 registration fee;
3. Remember to check your email address: an email containing more details about the competition will be sent 1-2 weeks before the event. Note: You will be considered registered only after you have paid the registration fee.

Number of participants
There is a limit of 60 competitors. If the limit is reached, there will be a waiting list.

When can I register
Registration will open on December 18th at 21:00 (CET) and close on January 7th.

How much does it cost
The registration fee for this competition is:

• €18 (Euro) for Cubing Italy Cubing Italy Members (note: this membership is free, see more below).
• €28 (Euro) for Cubing Italy non-members (note: non-members will have to pay €18 online plus €10 on site if they decide not to become Member).

How can I become a Member?
Becoming a Cubing Italy Member is free and does not imply any obligation towards the association.
Membership is valid until you request cancellation.

You can become a member by filling out this form on the Cubing Italy website. The Board of Directors will contact you to confirm the membership with Cubing Italy as taken place.
For children under the age of 16 a parent's authorization is required. If you are under 16 years old, fill in the form with your data and send it anyway. The Board of Directors will contact you within a few days, sending you the authorization to be filled in and sent back signed by a parent.

Alternatively, it is possible to associate on site.

Can I get a refund?
If your registration is cancelled before 23:59 (CET) of January 8th you will be refunded a 100% of your registration fee. If you wish to cancel your registration, contact comunicazione@cubingitaly.org.

Are spectators allowed?
Spectators are not allowed, each competitor can bring one guest only.

• Il costo di registrazione deve essere pagato in anticipo online per poter completare il processo di registrazione. Nessuna registrazione sarà accettata senza pagamento.

• €28 (Euro) per i non soci di Cubing Italy (nota: i non soci dovranno pagare €18 online più €10 in loco nel caso decidessero di non associarsi).

Come posso associarmi?
Associarsi al livello base è gratuito e non comporta alcun obbligo verso l’associazione.
Il tesseramento ha validitá permanente, fino ad una cancellazione volontaria.

È possibile associarsi compilando questo form sul sito di Cubing Italy. Il Consiglio Direttivo ti contatterà per confermarti dell'avvenuta associazione a Cubing Italy.
Per i minori di 16 anni è necessaria l'autorizzazione di un genitore. Se hai meno di 16 anni, compila comunque il form con i tuoi dati e invialo. Il Consiglio Direttivo ti contatterà entro pochi giorni, inviandoti l'autorizzazione da compilare e rimandare firmata da un genitore.

Alternativamente è possibile associarsi in loco.

Posso avere un rimborso?
Se cancelli la tua registrazione prima delle 23:59 (CET) dell'8 gennaio hai diritto al rimborso del 100% della tassa di iscrizione. Se desideri cancellare la tua registrazione, scrivi a comunicazione@cubingitaly.org.

Sono ammessi spettatori?
Gli spettatori non sono ammessi, ogni partecipante puó portare solo un accompagnatore.

All attendees (excluded under 12) are required to have a valid EU Digital Covid-19 Certificate of recovery or vaccination (Super Green Pass) to enter the venue. A negative test will not be accepted.

The competition will take place in compliance with the laws in force.
For the sake of your health and safety, we will enforce the following restrictions during the event.
1. Competitors must not attend the competition if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or if they were exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the week prior to the event. Symptoms include fever, cough, fatigue and diarrhea. If this occurs to you, the organizers will offer you a full refund.
2. Everyone must wear an FFP2 mask at all times inside the venue, covering both nose and mouth.
3. Attendees will have to avoid unnecessary interactions and keep at least 1m (3ft) away from others when possible.
4. We encourage competitors to bring their own pen to the competition. Cubing Italy will still provide plenty for everybody.
5. Hand sanitizer will be widely available for use at the competitors’ pleasure. Organizers will encourage to use it throughout the day.
6. The competition will be using a fixed seating system and there will be no competitor waiting area. This means that when you compete, you will complete all of your attempts in one sitting with the same judge, instead of being called to a different station for each attempt.
7. Officials and staff will be following special procedures to continue to lower chance of transmission of COVID-19, such as utilizing sanitizer frequently and distancing.

La competizione si svolgerà nel rispetto delle leggi vigenti.
Per salvaguardare la vostra salute e sicurezza, applicheremo le seguenti restrizioni durante l'evento.
1. I concorrenti non devono partecipare alla competizione se manifestano sintomi del COVID-19 o se sono entrati in contatto con un positivo nella settimana precedente alla competizione. I sintomi includono febbre, tosse, affaticamento e diarrea. In questo caso, gli organizzatori offriranno un rimborso completo.
2. Tutti presenti devono indossare sempre una mascherina FFP2 all'interno del locale, coprendo sia il naso che la bocca.
3. I partecipanti dovranno evitare le interazioni non necessarie e mantenersi ad almeno 1 m di distanza dagli altri quando possibile.
4. Incoraggiamo i partecipanti a portare la propria penna alla competizione. Cubing Italy fornirà comunque abbastanza penne per tutti quanti.
5. Il disinfettante per le mani sarà disponibile in grandi quantità per tutti i partecipanti. Gli organizzatori ricorderanno frequentemente di usarlo durante il giorno.
6. La competizione utilizzerà un sistema di postazioni fisse e non ci sarà l'area partecipanti. Ciò significa che quando gareggi, completerai tutti i tuoi tentativi alla stessa postazione e con lo stesso giudice, invece di essere chiamato a una postazione diversa per ogni risoluzione.
7. Lo staff e il personale seguiranno procedure speciali per ridurre le possibilità di trasmissione di COVID-19, come l'utilizzo frequente di disinfettante, l’utilizzo di guanti e il distanziamento sociale.

Nota: se le restrizioni cambiano, e quindi anche le regole del nostro evento, questa scheda verrà aggiornata di conseguenza e le informazioni sulla modifica verranno inviate all'e-mail dei concorrenti.

How to reach the venue

The station closest to the venue is Genova Bolzaneto. To get there, you can take a regional train towards Arquata Scrivia, which also passes through Genova Principe, Genova Brignole (the two main stations of Genoa) and Genova Sampierdarena (another important station).
Once you arrive in Genova Bolzaneto, the terminus of bus 270 is a three-minute walk from there. It leaves once every 15-20 minutes. In 5 minutes or so, you will get to the Paladiamante.

Another way to get to the venue is to take the metro. Get off a "Brin". Out of the station there is the other terminus of the bus 270. Take it and you will arrive at the Paladiamante in about 15/20 minutes.
It may be useful to know that the metro has two stops at the two main stations of Brignole and Principe.

Tickets

For train tickets, there are machines in the stations. Bus tickets, on the other hand, can be bought at newsstands or from the newsagents (they can't be bought on board).
Bus tickets are of three types:
- 100 minutes: valid for both bus and metro, it is stamped once and you can take as many buses and metro as you want in the next 100 minutes (necessary for those who decide to take metro + bus). The price is € 1.50 per ticket.
- 4 rides: there are four stamps, valid only for a few bus lines, including the 270. It stamps every time you get on a bus (convenient for those who come by train to then take the 270 and therefore do not need use the metro). The price is € 3 per ticket.
-100 minutes integrated AMT / Trenitalia: another option for those coming by train to Genova Bolzaneto. It works exactly like the regular 100 minute ticket, but there are two stamps on the same ticket: one is used like the 100 minute on bus and metro, the other is used on local trains. If you want, you can take a train to Genova Bolzaneto with the train stamp and then, by stamping the 100-minute part, arrive at the venue. The price is € 1.60 per ticket.

Come raggiungere la venue

La stazione più vicina alla sala è Genova Bolzaneto . Per arrivarci si può prendere un treno regionale in direzione Arquata Scrivia, che transita anche per Genova Principe, Genova Brignole (le due stazioni principali di Genova) e Genova Sampierdarena (altra stazione di rilievo).
Una volta arrivati a Genova Bolzaneto, a 2/3 minuti a piedi c'è il capolinea del bus 270, ne parte uno ogni 15 minuti circa. Prendendo quello, in 5 minuti o poco più si arriva al Paladiamante.

Un altro metodo per arrivare alla venue è prendere la metro. Scendendo a "Brin", all'uscita della stazione c'è l'altro capolinea del bus 270. Salendo lì, si arriva al Paladiamante in circa 15/20 minuti.
Può essere utile sapere che la metro ha due fermate in corrispondenza delle due stazioni principali di Brignole e Principe.

Biglietti

Per quanto riguarda i biglietti dei treni, ci sono le macchinette nelle stazioni. I biglietti del bus, invece, si prendono in edicola o dal giornalaio (non si possono comprare dall'autista).
I biglietti del bus sono di tre tipi:
- 100 minuti: valido sia per bus che metro, si timbra una volta e si possono prendere quanti bus e metro si vogliono fino a 100 minuti dall'orario di timbro del biglietto (necessario per chi decide di prendere metro+bus). Il prezzo è di 1.50€ a biglietto.
- 4 corse: ci sono quattro timbri, validi solo per una limitata linea di bus tra cui il 270. Si timbra ogni volta che si sale su un bus (conveniente per chi viene in treno per poi prendere il 270 e dunque non ha bisogno di usare la metro). Il prezzo è di 3€ a biglietto.
-100 minuti integrati AMT/Trenitalia: altra opzione per chi viene in treno fino a Genova Bolzaneto. Funziona esattamente come il 100 minuti normale, ma ci sono due timbri sullo stesso biglietto: uno si usa come il 100 minuti su bus e metro, l'altro si usa sui treni locali. Volendo, si può prendere un treno fino a Genova Bolzaneto con il timbro per i treni e poi, timbrando la parte da 100 minuti, arrivare alla venue. Il prezzo è di 1.60€ a biglietto.

Eating inside the venue is not allowed

We recommend the following solutions for lunch:
- The structure has a bar that will be open during the entire duration of the event. It will be possible to buy water, drinks adn coffee, but due to anti-covid measures it won't be possible to eat.
- In front of the gym there is a Lidl supermarket, open every day from 8:00 to 20:30.
- Taking the 270 bus or the car you will arrive in a few minutes in Genova Bolzaneto, where you will find various solutions.

Non è permesso mangiare all'interno della palestra.

Le soluzioni consigliate per il pranzo sono le seguenti:
- La struttura ha un bar che sarà aperto durante l'intera durata dell'evento in cui sarà possibile acquistare acqua, bevande e caffè, ma a causa delle norme anti covid non sarà possibile pranzare.
- Di fronte alla palestra c'è un supermercato Lidl aperto tutti i giorni dalle 8:00 alle 20:30.
- Prendendo il bus 270 o la macchina si arriva in pochi minuti a Genova Bolzaneto dove trovate diverse soluzioni.

Cubing Italy is a non-profit cultural association entirely run by volunteers, some of whom have more than 10 years of experience in the cubing community.
Its purpose is to organize speedcubing competitions all over the country.
These competitions are approved by the World Cube Association (WCA), the international association of which Cubing Italy adopts Values and Mission and by which it is recognized as a Regional Organization.

Cubing Italy è un'associazione culturale senza scopo di lucro interamente gestita da volontari, alcuni dei quali hanno più di 10 anni di esperienza nel mondo del cubo.
Il suo scopo è quello di organizzare competizioni di speedcubing su tutto il suolo nazionale.
Le competizioni sono approvate dalla World Cube Association (WCA), l’associazione internazionale di cui Cubing Italy riprende e fa propri Valori e Missione e da cui è riconosciuta come Organizzazione Regionale per l'Italia.

The competition is officially recognized by the World Cube Association, therefore competitors are required to know the WCA Regulations.
All the competitors must be available to help during the competition. This means that if required, they'll have to act as judges or scramblers.
During the competition competitors will be divided into groups.
