Welcome to Patio Cubik Masters 2023!
Patio Cubik Masters 2023 will be a two-day event filled with excitement and skill, allowing you to choose between participating only on Saturday or only on Sunday, according to your convenience. You will have the opportunity to compete with the best cubers and enjoy an atmosphere full of camaraderie and passion for the Rubik's Cube.

This competition is part of the Patio Cubik Masters 2023 Competition Series. Other competitions in this Series are: Note: You can submit a registration for all competitions in a Series, but only one of those registrations can be confirmed and accepted. You will only be allowed to compete in one of the Series competitions!
There is a competitor limit of 125 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $6,000 (Chilean Peso).
If your registration is cancelled before Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 3:00 AM UTC you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 3:00 AM UTC.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $6,000 (Chilean Peso).

Paso 1: Registro en el sitio web de la competencia en la WCA
1.- Para participar en el Patio Cubik Masters Domingo 2023, tienes que tener una cuenta en el sitio web de la World Cube Association (WCA). Si aún no tienes una cuenta, regístrate aquí.
2.- Una vez que tengas una cuenta, inicia sesión en la plataforma y registrate en la pagina de la competencia aquí.
3.- Solo puedes registrate en una competencia de la serie Patio Cubik Masters: Solo en la competencia Patio Cubik Masters Sábado 2023 (Sábado 25 de Noviembre de 2023) o solo en la competencia Patio Cubik Masters Domingo 2023 (Domingo 26 de Noviembre de 2023).
4.- Completa los datos requeridos en el recuadro inferior de la página para inscribirte en el evento y haz click en "Register!".
5.- Una vez que completes el registro correctamente te llegará un correo de confirmación y ya estarás en la lista de espera en espera de aprobación.
Paso 2: Pago
6.- Para que tu registro sea aprobado debes pagar $6.000.
7.- Las instrucciones de pago serán enviadas al correo que asociaste en tu cuenta de la WCA dentro de las siguientes 48 horas.
8.- La aprobacion de las inscripciones se realizará respetando el orden del registro de los competidores.

Step 1: Registration on the WCA Competition Website
1.- To participate in the Patio Cubik Masters Domingo 2023, you must have an account on the World Cube Association (WCA) website. If you don't have an account yet, sign up here.
2.- Once you have an account, log in to the platform and register on the competition page here.
3.- You can only register for one competition in the Patio Cubik Masters series: Only in the Patio Cubik Masters Sábado 2023 competition (Saturday, November 25, 2023) or only in the Patio Cubik Masters Domingo 2023 competition (Sunday, November 26, 2023).
4.- Complete the required information in the bottom box of the page to register for the event and click on "Register!".
5.- Once you complete the registration correctly, you will receive a confirmation email and you will be on the waiting list awaiting approval.
Step 2: Payment
6.- For your registration to be approved you must pay $6,000 CLP.
7.- The payment instructions will be sent to the email that you associated with your WCA account (It may take up to 48 hours).
8.- The approval of the inscriptions will be carried out respecting the order of registration of the competitors.
9.- The deadline date and time for payment is at 23:59 on Friday, November 17, 2023, continental Chile time, or when the limit of 125 competitors is reached, whichever happens first.

¿Tengo que traer mi propio cubo para competir o me pasaran uno en la competencia?
Cada participante debe traer su propio cubo para competir. Puede tomar prestado el cubo de otro competidor, siempre y cuando se encuentren en grupos distintos, es decir, no pueden turnarse durante una ronda.
¿Tengo que armar el cubo solo una vez?
Tendrás 5 intentos en cada ronda. De los cuales tu resultado será el promedio de ellos tras eliminar el mejor y el peor tiempo.
¿Existe un límite de edad para competir?
No existe un límite de edad para competir, todas las personas son bienvenidas.
¿Existe una separación por edad o sexo?
No existe una separación ni por edad, ni por sexo. Todas las personas compiten en el mismo grupo.
¿Dónde puedo ver los resultados?
Los resultados generales son publicados en la WCA algunos días tras terminada la competencia.
¿Por qué no aparezco en la lista de registrados todavía?
Esto puede deberse principalmente a dos razones:
1.- No te has registrado en la página de la WCA.
2.- Has tenido problemas con el pago de tu inscripción.
Si pagaste, debes enviar un correo a feheckersdorf@gmail.com con el comprobante del pago. Si tienes alguna dificultad para pagar, por favor contáctate con nosotros al mismo correo.
¿Qué significa Ao5?
Ao5: Promedio de los tiempos tras eliminar el mejor y el peor tiempo de 5 intentos.
¿Qué significa el límite?
Cada categoría tiene un límite de tiempo. Por ejemplo, para 3x3x3 el límite es 3 minutos.
Si te demoras más de 3 minutos en armar el cubo, tras pasado el tiempo, te detendremos y tu solve quedará como DNF (Did Not Finish).

Do I have to bring my own cube to compete, or will they provide one at the competition?
Each participant must bring their own cube to compete. You can borrow a cube from another competitor as long as you are in different groups, meaning you cannot take turns during a round.
Do I have to solve the cube only once?
You will have 5 attempts in each round. Your result will be the average of these attempts after removing the best and worst time.
Is there an age limit to compete?
There is no age limit to compete; everyone is welcome.
Is there an age or gender separation?
There is no separation by age or gender. All compete in the same group.
Where can I view the results?
The overall results are posted on the WCA website a few days after the competition concludes.
Why am I not appearing on the registered list yet?
This could be primarily due to two reasons:
1.- You have not registered on the WCA website.
2.- You have encountered issues with your registration payment.
If you have made a payment, please send an email to feheckersdorf@gmail.com with your payment receipt. If you are having difficulty with payment, please contact us at the same email address.
What does Ao5 mean?
Ao5: Average of 5 times after removing the best and worst time from 5 attempts.
What does the time limit mean?
Each category has a time limit. For example, for 3x3x3, the limit is 3 minutes. If you take longer than 3 minutes to solve the cube, after the time limit has passed, we will stop your solve, and your result will be recorded as DNF (Did Not Finish).

¿Qué es lo que buscamos?
Scoretakers (Anotadores de tiempos): Los Scoretakers serán responsables de registrar los tiempos de los competidores durante todo el evento. Debes estar atento a los detalles.
Runners (Asistentes): Los Runners son la columna vertebral de la competencia. Serás responsable de mantener todo en movimiento. Tu rol será llevar cubos y competidores a los jueces libres, serás la persona que mantendrá la competencia en marcha sin problemas.
Scramblers (Mezcladores de Cubos): Si eres rápido y habilidoso para mezclar cubos Rubik, entonces esta posición es perfecta para ti.
Requisitos
Debes estar disponible durante todo el día del evento al que quieras asistir (Patio Cubik Masters Saturday 2023 o Patio Cubik Masters Sunday 2023).
No se requiere experiencia previa, pero se espera conocimiento de las reglas de competición de la World Cube Association.

To ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate, we have established a registration system that allows you to choose between "Patio Cubik Masters Sábado 2023" or "Patio Cubik Masters Domingo 2023". It is important to note that it is not possible to register for both competitions; you must select one of the two options.
- Limited Spots: As spots are limited, we recommend registering as soon as possible to secure your place in the competition of your choice.
- No Changes After Registration: Once you have completed your registration and made the payment, you cannot change your selection between "Sábado" and "Domingo," so be sure to choose the date that suits you best.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
