There is a competitor limit of 15 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $15 (Australian Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 2 guests.
Payment:
Upon registering you will receive an email stating “Your registration for Perth FMC Day 2023 is submitted and pending approval”. This does NOT mean that you are on the registration list. Competitors will not be approved until payment has been made.
Please ensure you have paid the registration fees via Stripe on the register page. Your registration is not complete and will not be processed until you have paid the $15 registration fee. Contact the organisational team if you encounter an issue.
Waiting List:
- Once the competitor limit of 15 has filled, the waiting list will be opened.
- You must pay the $15 registration fee to be added to the waiting list.
- New registrations will be added to a waitlist and sorted in the order of payment.
- Waitlisted competitors will only be added to the competition if an existing competitors withdraws.
- All competitors still on the waiting list after 11th of February 2023 will be removed and provided with a full refund.
- You may enquire about your position on the waiting list by contacting the organisational team.
Deleting Registration/Refunds:
- If you can no longer make the competition you may request a refund.
- To receive a full refund you must contact the organisational team by the 11th of February 2023.
- Withdrawing enables us to maximise attendance and for competitors on the waiting list to attend.
You may change the events you are registered on the Register tab by the 11th of February 2023. After this date it is not possible to add further events. It is also acceptable to not show up for any event you do not wish to compete in.

Spectators are permitted and may enter FREE of charge.
Please be aware that this competition only has 3x3x3 Fewest Moves. This is run similarly to an exam and so is not very spectator friendly. If you do wish to spectate, please note that we allow only 2 guests per competitor for this competition, as the venue has limited space, and no judges are required. There is a cafe downstairs however, so there is a spot for parents to relax while their child participates.

Q. What time should I arrive at the competition?
You should arrive for registration as per the scheduled start time 9AM. You should be at the venue ready to compete 30 minutes before you are scheduled. Please note the schedule is subject to change on the day.
Q. How old do I have to be to compete?
Anyone can compete at any age! We encourage anyone considering to compete to register as it will be a great experience regardless of age.
Q. How fast do I have to be to compete?
You must be able to meet the requirements of the fewest moves event. Please note this competition does not have standard events such as 3x3x3 cube.
Q. What do I need to know before the competition day?
Before attending you should have read and understood the WCA regulations. We also recommend that you read this competition tutorial. You should also know when your events are scheduled throughout the day.

Q. How do I find out if I've progressed to the second round?
Times will be uploaded through the day onto WCA Live. Please allow up to an hour from finishing your solves to them being uploaded. After all the times of a round has been entered, you can see if you are in the following round.
Q: How do I get a WCA ID?
After official results are posted after the competitions you will receive an email with information on your WCA ID.

By car
The competition venue is located at [555 Wellington St, Perth WA 6000, Australia]. (There is limited street parking available, and plenty of paid parking garages around the area.)
By Train
This competition is a 5 minute walk from Perth Station, so taking the train to this competition is highly reccommended.
By Bus
The Perth Busport is a 5 minute walk from the venue, so taking a bus to this location is also very easy.

Live results will be provided via WCALive. It may take up to an hour between times being set and them appearing online.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
