Competition registration fees do NOT cover competition-provided lunch.

There are various restaurants open in the Joe Crowley Student Union.

This competition is a "quiet competition", meaning that the only events that are being offered are completed under quiet conditions:
* 3x3x3 Blindfolded
* 4x4x4 Blindfolded
* 3x3x3 Multi-Blind
* 3x3x3 Fewest Moves.

All competition attendees are required to remain quiet during these events.
Attendees wishing to socialize or otherwise talk at full volume must do so outside the room of the competition, out of earshot, as not to distract competitors.

The term "Please Be Quiet" to refer to these types of twisty puzzle competitions was coined by former Bay Area Speedcubin' organizer Nathaniel Knopf, with the competition Please Be Quiet 2015. Since then, more than 50 competitions have been named as "quiet" competitions, with most of them being called "Please Be Quiet" or similar.
