För att ta del av tävlingsrabatten är det bara att vara registrerad i SveKubs medlemsregister, sedan anmäler du dig som vanligt. Vi verifierar sedan vilka av de anmälda som är medlemmar och inte. Du betalar till att börja med fullt pris, men vi återbetalar 25% i samband med att anmälan granskas (godkänns eller sätts på väntelistan). I framtiden hoppas vi kunna ha ett något smidigare system, men anmälningssystemet kan i dagsläget inte hantera olika anmälningsavgifter för olika personer.

SveKub

This competition is organized together with Svenska Kubförbundet - SveKub.

As a member of SveKub, you always have a 25% discount on Swedish competitions, up to 10% discount on train travel with SJ and discounts on hotels at Scandic and Nordic Choice Hotels. The membership is free, but is only available for Swedish citizens.

To recieve the competition discount, you simply need to be registered as a SveKub member. After that, you register as normal and we will verify which competitors are members and which are not. You will pay the full price to begin with, but we will refund 25% when reviewing the registration (approving it or moving it to the waiting list). In the future, we hope to have a slightly more convenient system, but the current registration system can not handle different registration fees for different people.

Viktig info

Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA regulations. Deltagare förväntas känna till WCAs reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Vi kommer innan 2x2x2 på lördagen ha en deltagarintroduktion för nya deltagare där vi går igenom hur det går till när man tävlar på en officiell WCA-tävling. Vill man redan nu få bättre koll på hur tävlingsproceduren går till, kolla då gärna denna video som visar detta på ett bra sätt. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Alla nya tävlande bör ha med ett giltigt ID. För att få tävla som ny deltagare måste du kunna identifiera dig själv och visa att den information du gav oss när du registrerade dig för den här tävlingen är korrekt. Ett pass är ett bra exempel på ett giltigt ID eftersom det visar all nödvändig information, såsom namn, nationalitet och födelsedatum. Om den tävlande är ung och inte har ett eget ID kan en vårdnadshavare verifiera att uppgifterna stämmer.

Du måste vara redo att tävla när din grupp startar Du behöver vara på plats i lokalen under de grenar där du planerar att delta. Du behöver dock vara på plats i lokalen senast 15 minuter innan din första gren ska börja, så du hinner fullfölja registreringen. Vi rekommenderar dock alltid att ni är på plats i lokalen minst 15 minuter innan er nästa gren, då schemat kan variera något jämfört med vad som först var planerat.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.

Publik måste befinna sig 1,5 meter ifrån tävlingsstationerna och tävlingsområdet Annars finns risken att man stör andra tävlande eller tävlingsproceduren.

Man får inte prata om blandningarna innan man tävlat färdigt i pågående gren Annars finns risken att man blir diskvalificerad.

Håll koll på er mejl Några dagar innan tävlingen kommer ni få ett deltagarmejl där vi kommer ta upp diverse viktig information för deltagare att känna till. I detta mejl kommer också eventuella ändringar sedan tävlingen annonserades tas upp. Om det finns annan information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta också ske via mejl, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er mejl regelbundet.

Important info

All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA's regulations before attending an official competition. We will have a competitor tutorial for new participants before 2x2x2 on Saturday, where we will show how to compete in an official WCA competition. If you want to get a better idea of how the competition works already, please check this video which will show you this. Reading through this guide. is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

All new competitors should bring a valid ID. To be allowed to compete as a new competitor, you need to be able to identify yourself and the information you provided us when you registred for this competition. A passport is a good example of a valid ID since it shows all necessary information, such as name, nationality and date of birth. If the competitor is young and does not have an ID, a parent or guardian can confirm that the information is correct instead.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 15 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the registration. It is however always recommended to be at the venue at least 15 minutes before your next event, since the schedule may differ slightly from what was previously announced.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators should remain 1,5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done Otherwise, you might get disqualified.

Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Nya tävlande

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Det är viktigt att du läser igenom alla flikar här på sidan, eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.

Om du aldrig tävlat förut bör du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort. Detta är en rekommenderad policy för att se till att er personliga information blir korrekt. Om du inte har ett ID-kort kan en förälder eller vårdnadshavare bekräfta informationen.

Det är också viktigt att du läser igenom WCA-reglerna så du får en bättre förståelse för vilka olika tidsstraff du kan få på lösningarna, och hur du undviker dem. Du är såklart mycket välkommen att ställa frågor om saker som dyker upp under tävlingen!

Kom ihåg att du bara behöver vara i lokalen när du har någon gren att tävla i, men eftersom schemat kan ändras något under tävlingen rekommenderar vi att du är där minst 15 minuter innan din första gren.

Under hela tävlingen kommer du kunna se live-resultat från WCA live, där kan du se vilka resultat du fick, och ifall du gick vidare till nästa runda.

New competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Make sure to read through all tabs above as there is a lot of important information there.

If you've never competed before, you should to bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's license. This is a recommended policy to make sure your personal information is correct. If you do not have an ID, a parent or guardian can confirm the information.

This video demonstrates how solving in a competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know. It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware of different penalties and how to avoid them. You are of course more than welcome to ask us questions during the competition!

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least 15 minutes before your first event.

Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from WCA live, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

• Gula Längan: Deltagarboende
• Flen Station: Flens buss- och tågstation. Den bästa vägen från stationen till deltagarboendet och tävlingslokalen visas också.
• Träffpunkten Flen: Närmaste snabbmatsrestaurang. Fler alternativ finns också i närområdet.
• ICA Kvantum Flen: Närmaste livsmedelsaffär.

Med bil:

Adressen till tävlingslokalen är Drottninggatan 24, Flen. Gott om gratis parkering finns framför lokalen samt 100 meter längre ner längs Drottninggatan vid Hammarvallens sim- och sporthall.

Med tåg:

Tävlingsschemat har anpassats till tågtidtabellen från främst Stockholm, men även Göteborg samt Malmö / Köpenhamn. Ta tåget till Flens station. Tävlingslokalen är 700 meters gångväg från stationen, gå genom tunneln under järnvägen som visas på kartan ovan. Biljetter kan bokas via sj.se, men om din resa endast inkluderar Mälartåg så är det billigare att boka sin biljett på malartag.se.

Travel

Map

• Gula Längan: Competitor accomodation
• Flen Station: Flen´s main bus and train station. The best route from this station to the competitor accomodation and competition venue is also shown.
• Träffpunkten Flen: Closest fast food restaurant. There are more options around here too.
• ICA Kvantum Flen: Closest supermarket.

By car

The address to the venue is Drottninggatan 24, Flen. There is lots of parking available right in front of the venue, as well as 100 meters further down the road at Hammarvallen swim- and sports center.

By train

The competition schedule has been adjusted to fit the train timetable, mainly from Stockholm but also from Gothenburg and Malmö / Copenhagen. Take the train to Flen's train station. The venue is located 700 meters away from the station on foot, walk through the tunnel under the railway shown on the map above. Train tickets can be booked through sj.se, but if your journey only involves "Mälartåg", den it it cheaper to book through malartag.se.

Boende

Deltagare och gäster kommer kunna sova i närbelägna Gula Längan. Det kommer vara ett liknande upplägg som tidigare år, 200kr per person och natt, i vandrarhemsstandard (ta med lakan, påslakan, örngott), frukost inkluderat. Frukosten finns att tillgå hela morgonen i Gula Längans allrum. Ett par duschar finns i själva tävlingslokalen för de som önskar. Det finns endast 32 bäddar att tillgå, så boka så snart som möjligt. Bokningar görs genom detta formulär.

Kom ihåg att betalningen på 200kr per person och natt måste betalas innan bokningen är slutförd. Enklast är att betala genom Swish till SveKub: 123 688 29 97. Om betalning via Swish inte är möjligt går det även att betala för bokningen genom en "donation" under den ordinarie registreringsprocessen till själva tävlingen. Om inte heller detta går så kan tävlingsarrangören kontaktas för att finna en alternativ lösning.

Accommodation

Competitors and guests will be able to sleep in nearby Gula Längan. It will be in a similar arrangement as during earlier years, 200 SEK per night, in hostel standard (bring sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases), breakfast included. The breakfast is served all morning in the common room of Gula Längan. There are a few showers available at the competition venue for those who wants. There are only 32 beds available, so please book as early as you can. Booking is made through this form.

Remember that you must pay the fee of 200 SEK per person and night before your booking is confirmed. The easiest way to pay is through Swish to SveKub: 123 688 29 97. If a payment through Swish is not possible (e.g. foreigners), it is also possible to pay through the "donation" field during the normal registration process to the competition. If also this is not possible, please contact the organizer to find another solution.

Mat

Många mataffärer ligger nära tävlingslokalen, i Flens centrum. En pizzeria och några restauranger ligger också i centrum, cirka 700 meter från lokalen. Ingen mat eller liknande kommer säljas i lokalen denna gång.

Food

Many supermarkets are located close to the venue, in the city center. A pizzeria and a few restaurants are also located at the city center, about 700 meters away from the venue. No food or similar will be sold at the venue this time around.
