NEWCOMERS:
There are multiple things a first-timer must know before competing. All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. There is a video here for the basic overview of the rules.
ALL COMPETITORS:
All competitors are expected to help out at this competition. In addition to your competing groups, all competitors will receive groups in which they are expected to either judge, scramble, or run. All assignments will be organized by group, meaning that when we call a particular group of an event up to compete, if you are scheduled to judge/scramble/run during that group, you will come up and start performing your assigned task. If you do not show up for your assignments, your times may be subject to disqualification.
The venue is the Frist Campus Center Multipurpose Room, which can be found on the bottom floor of the Frist Campus Center.
Please enter the building through the door circled in red below, right off Frist Lane. Once you enter, go down the stairs immediately to your left.
You can park in the North Garage, which is accessible off of Prospect Ave and about a 8-min walk to Frist Campus Center. The garage has consistent availability of approximately 200 spaces.
Click here to see the North Garage on Google Maps.
Alternatively, Lot-10 and Lot-13 can be used. They are accessible off Williams St and are about a 6 min walk to First Campus center. However, depending on the time of guest arrival, spaces might be limited.
