In 48 hours, if you do NOT see your name on the competitors list (the tab on the left side of the screen thay says "Competitors") then please send an email to the Contact on the General Info Tab. Failure to do any of these steps may result in a delay in registration.

The deadline to register is June 10th, at 8:00 PM local time. Any changes in events will be honored before this time. Also, if you find that you are not able to attend, you are eligible for a full refund of your fee if you let us know by this time.

You can still register for the waitlist by registering and paying the registration fee normally. You will receive a confirmation email if you make it to the competitor list. If you feel that your fee should be waived for any reason, let us know when we accept your registration and you will be refunded. You are not considered on the waitlist until the payment is made.

If you are on the registration list and find that you cannot make it, please let us know! We will refund your registration fee and let another competitor onto the list. We want to allow as many people to compete as we possibly can.

The deadline for this is Sunday, June 10th, 2018 at 8:00 PM EDT, when registration closes. No refunds will be given to registered competitors past this point.

There is a 115 competitor limit for Rally In The Valley 2018, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration is $10, must be paid online via Stripe, and is nonrefundable after June 11th. Spectators come in for free. Registration is not final until payment is complete and your name appears on the competitor list.

There is NO AT-THE-DOOR REGISTRATION, NO EXCEPTIONS.

This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations. If you are new to competing, you may want to look at CubingUSA's Competitor Tutorial.

Parking: Free Parking is available in the lots surrounding the Science and Health Professions Building, and the larger lot next to the Paul Wolk Library if needed.

The venue is the Carl and Emily Thompson Conference Center which is located inside the Corron Community Development Center

For Lunch there is a Subway in the Student Union, and a walkway in front of the water leads from the Student Union to the venue.

If you are a first time competitor, please read this section carefully. If you are a returning competitor, please skip to the next section.

NEWCOMERS:

There are multiple things a first-timer must know before competing. All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. There is a video here for the basic overview of the rules.

ALL COMPETITORS:

Please read this section carefully. Changes in organization have been made modeled off of Hungarian competitions in Europe. When you arrive, you will receive a lanyard with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have staff assignments on your lanyard. Every competitor is expected to help out this competition. The card will look somewhat like the following:

Please note that everyone is expected to help only during the events they are registered for, and everyone need only help for one group per event. If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
