The base registration fee for this competition is €10 (Euro).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.

We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

3. Pay the registration fee

If the name on the payment and the name on the registration form are not identical, please enter the name of the participant on the registration form in the last step of the payment procedure. A payment is only considered to have been made when we can clearly allocate it.

Informationen für Neulinge
Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:
Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e)). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer-Anleitung sowie das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.
Bei wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne an das Organisationsteam wenden.

Newcomer information
If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:
According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.
Feel free to contact the organizer if you have any uncertainties.

Auf der Veranstaltung können eventuell Foto- und Videoaufnahmen gemacht werden. Alle Fotos und Videos werden nach der Veranstaltung den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern zur Verfügung gestellt.

Zur Haltestelle Laudenbach (Bergstr.) fährt die RB 68 (Richtung Frankfurt) stündlich von Heidelberg über Laudenbach (Bergstr.) nach Frankfurt. Von der Haltestelle aus sind es ca. 700 Meter zur Venue (über Schillerstraße).
Parkplätze sind auf dem Gelände vorhanden.

You can take the line RB 68 from Heidelberg over Laudenbach (Bergstr.) to Frankfurt every hour. It's approximately a 700m walk from the station Laudenbach (Bergstr.) to the venue (over Schillerstraße).

Rhein-Neckar Winter 2024 will be sponsored by the cube store Cuboss.com! Before the lunch break on Sunday (12:25 PM) we will give away ten 24€ voucher cards, including five among all participants and five among all new participants. Furthermore we will give away another five 24€ voucher cards for special achievements before the award ceremony.

Rhein-Neckar Winter 2024 wird dieses Jahr von dem Würfelshop Cuboss.com gesponsort! Beim Turnier wird es eine kleine Würfel-Tauschbörse geben, in der Ihr eure unbenutzten oder alten Cubes zum Verkauf oder Tausch anbieten könnt. Wenn Ihr Cubes oder Zubehör habt, die Ihr nicht mehr braucht und verkaufen möchtet, bringt sie zum Wettbewerb mit.
Dieser Wettbewerb wird das inoffizielle Event Face-Turning-Octahedron halten. Die Ergebnisse werden auf Cubing Contests hochgeladen und in die dortigen Rankings aufgenommen.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
