All Competitors
- All competitors can register by clicking the Register button here, on the side, or on the top of the page.
- Registration closes on Sunday, April 1, 2018, 8:00 PM EDT or when we reach the competitor limit of 200.
- There is an additional competitor limit of 60 competitors for FMC.
- The last day to Cancel your registration and receive a refund is Sunday, March 25, 2018, 8:00 PM EDT.
- All competitors should be familiar with the WCA Regulations. Articles 2, 3, and A would be the most important to start with. If you have any questions, feel free to ask the organization team.
- T-Shirts will be avaliable to buy. More details on this can be found on the T-Shirts Tab.
- Please be early for any event you will be competing in.
- All competitors will recieve a lanyard at the front desk during check-in. After you are done competing, you may return the to front desk to recieve a participation award.
- We will use regulation 9p3) for all final rounds. If you are not present when a final starts, you will be withdrawn from that final.
- Competitors looking to be Staff Members can apply on the Staff Recruitment Tab.
First Time Competitors
- Please bring a form of identification which includes your name, state, and date of birth to verify this information during check-in
- Please inform the front desk at check-in that you are a new competitor and would like to go over the solving procedures.
- In each event we will have rounds. We will take the top competitors on to the subsequent rounds. After a round is completed results will be entered into CubeComps. Your name will be highlighted if you made it to the next round.
- Each round will be divided into groups to help them run more efficiently. We will call the groups in order. Please come bring your puzzle up and wait in the competitor waiting area whenever your group is called. We are allowed to deny you the ability to compete if you do not come when your group is called.

The first page will provide a link to each competitor's individual schedule. Hover over your name and click the link that pops up. Alternatively you can scroll through the tabs to search for your name (alphabetical order).
The second tab, "Group Table", gives all the groups for each competitor.
The third tab, "By Group R1", gives all assignments by group.

ATL Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is the closest option (about a 1.5 Hour drive to athens)

Cutoff- Rounds with a cutoff will have an additional best of 2 (best of 1 for 6x6 and 7x7) format where competitors will have 2 attempts to achieve a time under the cutoff. If the comeptitor does, then they will be awarded more attempts in order to compelete the average.
Cumulative Limit (C)- The total time allowed for all attempts combined.
Time Limit - Any attempt in the round exceeding this time will be awarded a DNF. For "WCA" time limits, it is dependent on the regulations for that event.
FMC has a 60 person competitor limit.

We will be offering Southeast Regional Titles to competitors who are from these states in the Southeast Region:

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
