SveKub Super League (Svenska)

SveKub Super League (SSL) är en satsning SveKub gör för tävlingar 2023. Vår förhoppning är att tävlingar i denna serie ska vara stora, med många deltagare och en "proffsigare" känsla. För er som var med under SSL 2017 eller 2019 kommer en del kännas bekant, men 2023 års upplaga blir satstigare, större, fler tävlingar, ett mer genomarbetat poängsystem och betydligt mycket mer pengar i prispotten än vad som någonsin funnits på svenska tävlingar!

Deltävlingar

SSL 2023 planeras att ha åtta deltävlingar runt om i landet, följt av en final i slutet av året. De flesta deltävlingarna kommer vara två dagar långa, men några enstaka blir 2,5 eller 3 dagar långa om de hålls över lov eller helgdagar. Vi kommer försöka att sprida ut tävlingarna så gott som möjligt, både tidsmässigt över året samt geografiskt över landet. Alla tävlingsdatum och städer är inte spikade än, men kommer annonseras ut kontinuerligt under året. För att hålla dig uppdaterad kring när dessa tävlingar annonseras så kan du dels kolla här, och dels följa SveKub i sociala medier.

Grenar

Varje deltävling kommer ha drygt elva grenar, vi planerar däremot för att säsongsfinalen ska ha alla 17 grenar. 3x3x3 hålls på alla tävlingar, medan de andra 16 grenarna hålls olika ofta beroende på grenens popularitet. Sidogrenar som liknar varandra, exempelvis 4x4x4-7x7x7, paras i största möjliga mån ihop på samma tävling, för att göra det enklare för dig som deltagare att prioritera de deltävlingar som har de grenar som du bryr dig om. Tabellen nedan visar hur ofta varje gren finns med, samt hur många av ens resultat i en viss gren under seriens gång som räknas till slutställningen:

Poängsystem

På varje tävling i serien kommer alla deltagare kunna samla ihop poäng i de olika grenarna. Poängen från varje tävling kommer läggas ihop och byggas på under årets gång. Poängställningen för såväl den sammanlagda totalen som för varje enskild gren kommer kunna ses efter varje deltävling här. I SSL 2023 tävlas det i följande tre kategorier:

• All-round (dina sammanlagda poäng i alla tävlingsgrenar)
• 3x3x3 (sammanlagd poäng enbart från denna gren, men med större prispengar)
• Individuella grenar (sammanlagda poäng enbart i just den sidogrenen, exempelvis Pyraminx)

I kategorierna 3x3x3 samt i de individuella grenarna så är din totalpoäng helt enkelt de x bästa tävlingsresultaten från de deltävlingar man deltagit på + ens resultat på SSL-finalen i den specifika grenen, enligt tabellen ovan.

All-round fungerar så att dina slutpoäng i alla andra kategorier och grenar slås ihop och bildar en slutpoäng specifikt för kategorin All-round. Med tanke på att ens bästa resultat i de olika sidogrenarna dock kan komma från vitt skiljda deltävlingar så är det alltså en fördel att komma på så många deltävlingar som möjligt (särskilt SSL-finalen). Självklart är du dock välkommen att delta även om du bara kan komma på en eller ett par tävlingar, och dina poäng kommer räknas ändå.

1:a plats i varje gren får 100 poäng, sedan minskar antalet poäng i och med lägre placering exponentiellt ner till 1 poäng. Fullständig lista för poäng på samtliga positioner kan ses i tabellen nedan. Notera också att det bara är ens slutplacering i sin sista runda i en gren som bestämmer hur många poäng man får.

Priser

På SSL-finalen i slutet av året kommer prispengar delas ut av SveKub till totalvinnaren i varje gren (topp 3 i 3x3) samt för topp 3 med flest poäng sett över alla grenar i All-round kategorin:

3x3x3:
1:a plats: 3000 kr
2:a plats: 2000 kr
3:e plats: 1000 kr

Övriga individuella grenar:
1:a plats: 750 kr

All-round, total poäng sett över alla 17 grenar:
1:a plats: 3000 kr
2:a plats: 2000 kr
3:e plats: 1000 kr

Utöver det delas såklart presentkort ut på de individuella tävlingarna, precis som vanligt på stora tävlingar. Läs mer om det på fliken Sponsorer & Priser. Alla har självklart rätt att vinna priser både totalt och på de olika deltävlingarna, oavsett nationalitet.

T-shirt

Det kommer finnas en SveKub Super League-T-shirt till salu på SSL-finalen, men för dig som deltar på alla tävlingar i serien kommer denna vara gratis!

SveKub Super League (English)

SveKub Super League (SSL) is a big project that SveKub is undertaking for competitions in 2023. Our hope is that competitions in this series will be big, with many participants and with a more "professional" feel. For those of you who were part of SSL 2017 or 2019, some parts will feel familiar, but the 2023 edition will be better and bigger, with more competitions, a more elaborate points system and significantly more money in the prize pool than there has ever been at Swedish competitions!

Sub-competitions

SSL 2023 is planned to have eight sub-competitions around the country, followed by a final at the end of the year. Most of the competitions will be two days long, but a few will be 2.5 or 3 days long if they are held over school holidays or public holidays. We will try to spread the competitions as best as possible, both in terms of time throughout the year and geographically across the country. All competition dates and cities have not been finalized yet, but will be announced continuously throughout the year. Events

Each sub-competition will have around eleven events, however, we are planning for the season finale to have all 17 events. 3x3x3 is held at all competitions, while the other 16 events are held depending on the popularity of the event. Side events that are similar to each other, for example 4x4x4-7x7x7, are paired as much as possible together in the same competition, to make it easier for you as a competitor to prioritize the sub-competitions that have the events that you care about. The table below shows how often each event is included, as well as how many of one's results in a certain event during the course of the series count towards the final standings:

Points system

At each competition in the series, all participants will be able to accumulate points in the various events. The points from each competition will be added up during the course of the year. The score for both the All-round category as well as for each individual event will be available after each competition here. SSL 2023 has the following three categories:

• All-round (your total points in all competition events)
• 3x3x3 (total score from this event only, but with larger prize money)
• Individual events (total points only in that particular side event, for example Pyraminx)

In the 3x3x3 category as well as in the individual events, your total score is simply the x best competition results from the sub-competitions you participated in + your result at the SSL final in the specific event, according to the table above.

All-round works so that your final scores in all other categories and events are added together to form a final score specifically for the All-round category. Considering that one's best results in the various side events can come from different sub-competitions, it is therefore an advantage to participate at as many sub-competitions as possible (especially the SSL final). Of course, you are welcome to participate even if you can only come at one, or a couple of the competitions, and your points will still be counted.

1st place in each event gets 100 points, then the number of points decreases exponentially with lower placement down to 1 point. The full list of points for all positions can be seen in the table below. Also note that it is only one's final position in one's last round in an event that determines how many points one gets.

Prizes

At the SSL Final at the end of the year, prize money will be awarded by SveKub to the overall winner in each event (top 3 in 3x3) and for the top 3 with the most points across all events in the All-round category:

3x3x3:
1st place: SEK 3,000
2nd place: SEK 2,000
3rd place: SEK 1,000

Other individual events:
1st place: SEK 750

All-round, total score seen across all 17 events:
1st place: SEK 3,000
2nd place: SEK 2,000
3rd place: SEK 1,000

In addition to that, gift cards are given out at the individual competitions, just as usual at our large competitions. Read more about it on the tab Sponsors & Prizes. Everyone is of course entitled to win prizes both overall and in the various sub-competitions, regardless of nationality.

There will be a SveKub Super League T-shirt for sale at the SSL Finals, but for those who attend all competitions in the series it will be free!

Vill du också arrangera en tävling?

Du kan också arrangera en tävling i din stad! Det enda kravet är att du har koll på en lokal som hade passat bra för en tävling. Det kan vara allt från matsalar, gymnastiksalar, bygdegårdar, folkets hus och klubb- eller samlingslokaler. Själva tävlingen kan pågå i bara ett par timmar på en vardagskväll eller en hel långhelg, du bestämmer. Därefter kan SveKub hjälpa till med det du inte kan eller vill göra själv, såsom tävlingsschema, budget och hemsida. Mer information om och hur det går till att arrangera en tävling finns här.

SveKub

This competition is organized together with SveKub.

As a member of SveKub, you always have a 25% discount on competitions. The membership is free, but is only available for Swedish citizens.
Read more about becoming a member on our website or register right away.

To get the discount, you simply need to be registered as a SveKub member. After that, you register as normal and we will verify which competitors are members and which are not.
Everyone pays full price at first, and we will then refund 25% to members. We verify the membership and refund the discount at two occasions, once 24 hours after registration opens, and once when registration has closed.
In the future, we hope to have a slightly more convenient system, but the current registration system can not have different registration fees for different people.

Do you also want to organize a competition?

You can also organize a competition in your city! The only requirement is that you know a venue that would be suitable for a competition. It can be anything from canteens, sport halls, community centers and club or meeting rooms. You decide for how long the competition should run, anything from a couple of hours on a weekday to an entire weekend is a possibility. After that, SveKub can help with what you can't or don't want to do yourself, such as a competition schedule, budget and website. Viktig info

Första tävlingen?

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Det är viktigt att du läser igenom alla flikar här på sidan, eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.

Om du aldrig tävlat förut bör du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort, för att intyga dina personuppgifter stämmer. Om den tävlande inte har ett ID kan en förälder bekräfta dessa uppgifter.

På lördagen innan 2x2 kommer vi demonstrera hur det går till att tävla, men vi rekommenderar starkt att du även kollar på den här videon, som går igenom hur allt fungerar på en tävling. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare. Dessa guider fungerar som komplement till WCA:s Regler, som varje tävlande är skyldig att vara bekant med.

Kom ihåg:

Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA:s Regler. Deltagare förväntas vara bekanta med WCA:s reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Reglerna finns även översatta till svenska, men tänk på att det är den engleska originalversionen som gäller om det skulle finnas några skillnader.

Du måste vara anmäld till tävlingen online för att få tävla! Du kan anmäla dig här.

Du måste vara redo att tävla när din grupp startar. Du behöver bara vara på plats i lokalen under de grenar där du planerar att delta. Du behöver dock vara på plats i lokalen senast 15 minuter innan din första gren ska börja, så du hinner fullfölja incheckningen, och för att vara på den säkra sidan ifall schemat påverkas något under tävlingen.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.

Publik måste befinna sig 1,5 meter ifrån tävlingsstationerna och tävlingsområdet. Annars finns risken att man stör andra tävlande eller tävlingsproceduren.

Man får inte prata om blandningarna innan man tävlat färdigt i pågående gren. Annars finns risken att man blir diskvalificerad.

Live-resultat finns på WCA Live. Där kan du se vilka resultat du fick, och ifall du gick vidare till nästa omgång.

Håll koll på er e-mail. Några dagar innan tävlingen kommer ni få ett deltagarmail där vi kommer ta upp diverse viktig information för deltagare att känna till. I detta mail kommer också eventuella ändringar sedan tävlingen annonserades tas upp. Om det finns annan information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta också ske via e-mail, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er e-mail regelbundet.

Important info

First competition?

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Make sure to read through all tabs on this page as there is a lot of important information there.

If you have never competed before, you should bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's licence, to verify your birth date and nationality. If the competitor does not have an ID, a parent can confirm this information.

We will have a demonstration showing how the competing process works on Saturday before 2x2, but we highly recommend watching this video, which demonstrates how everything works at a competition. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know. These guides act as complements to the WCA Regulations, which every competitor is expected to be familiar with.

Remember:

All competitors must have read the WCA Regulations. Participants are expected to be familiar with the WCA Regulations before attending an official competition.

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You only need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 15 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the chek-in, and also compensate for any slight changes in schedule.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators should remain 1,5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done Otherwise, you risk getting disqualified.

Live results can be found on WCA Live. There you can see what results you got, and whether you progressed to the next round.

Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Lokalen är belägen i korsningen Axel Johanssons gata / Fyrislundsgatan i Uppsala. Det finns en stor gratis parkering intill lokalen.

Med Lokaltrafik

Lokalen ligger alldeles intill busshållplats "Axel Johanssons gata". Hållplatsen trafikeras av både stadsbusslinje 7 (från centrala Uppsala) samt ringlinje 1 (med byte för att nå exempelvis Uppsala centralstation). Se ULs hemsida för mer informtation om biljetter, tidtabeller och reseplanerare. Biljett köper du enklast i ULs app, (zon 1, Uppsala innerstad), alternativt med SL + UL tilläggsbiljett om du endast åker från Storstockholm.

Med Flyg (till Arlanda flygplats)

Uppsala ligger bara 18 minuters tågresa från Arlanda C. Om du vill åka från Arlanda till lokalen på en biljett kan du använda samma SL + UL-biljett på SL-pendeltåget och lokalbussarna i Uppsala (se UL:s hemsida). Det finns dock fler tåg, kolla till exempel SJ.

Tänk dock på att ta tåget från Arlanda ger en extra avgift på cirka 130 kr som ska betalas om du är 18 år eller äldre, vilket ger en totalpris på 231 kr för vuxna och 192 kr för 18-19 åringar. Vill du spara lite pengar kan du ta den långsammare UL-bussen 801, som avgår till Uppsala från Arlanda terminal 4. Det tar cirka 44 minuter, men kostar endast 99 kr för vuxna och 60 kr för barn.

Travel

By Car

The venue is located in the crossing between Axel Johanssons gata / Fyrislundsgatan in Uppsala. There is a big parking lot that is free of charge right by the venue.

By Train

First, book a train seat to Uppsala central station. Train tickets are most easily booked at www.sj.se. From there, use the local transport tips listed below. Remember that SveKub members travel at an up to 10% discount with SJ, more details can be found at the Sverok website.

By Local Transport

The venue is right next to the "Axel Johanssons gata" bus stop. The stop is served by both city bus line 7 (from central Uppsala) and ring line 1 (with a change needed to reach, for example, Uppsala central station). See UL's website for more information on tickets, timetables and travel planners. The easiest way to buy a ticket is via the UL app, (zone 1, Uppsala inner city), alternatively with SL + UL combination ticket if you only leave from greater Stockholm.

By Plane (to Arlanda airport)

Uppsala is only an 18-minute train ride from Arlanda C, in case you fly in from abroad. If you want to travel from Arlanda to the venue in one go, you can use the same SL + UL ticket on the SL commuter train and the local buses in Uppsala (see UL's website). There are however more trains available, check for example SJ.

Remember, however, that taking the train from Arlanda will result in an extra fee of around 130SEK to be paid if you are 18 years or older, resulting in a total fare of 231 SEK for adults and 192 SEK for 18-19 year olds. If you are travelling on a budget, you can go for the slower UL bus 801, leaving for Uppsala from Arlanda terminal 4. It takes approximately 44 minutes, but costs only 99 SEK for adults and 60 SEK for children.
