There is a competitor limit of 100 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is RM28.24 (Malaysian Ringgit).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

All registration fees are payable via paypal (debit/credit card) only, walk-in payment and registration are not acceptable.

*** The steps for registration are as follows:**
1. Register
2. Pay according to the no.of event that you registered and indicate the full name of the participant, email address (as per registered at WCA website).
3. Once registration and payment done, please email us the receipt with:
i) FIrst timer - Photocopy/ of NRIC/Passport with name, nationality and DOB.
ii) Returner - WCA ID, with name.
4. If you wish to add event(s) to your registration, you should email to us and pay for the extra amount of registration fees before the registration deadline.

Please take note that:

Payment of registration fee is only available through Paypal. Both debit and credit card are accepted.
Payment which does not match with the event registered will be recognise as 'Incomplete registration'
Incomplete registration: Registration fee of 1 event will be charged and the remaining balance will be refund.
Withdraw from the competition before registration deadline: Registration fee of 1 event will be charged and the remaining balance will be refund.
Withdraw 1 or more events (but still participating) before deadline: 100% refund for the affected amount in cash during registration on the competition day.
Withdraw after registration deadline: No refund

Tee Kai Yang won with an average of 9.04 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Ivan Lew Yi Wen (刘义文) finished second (9.66) and Leow Yi Jun (廖艺畯) finished third (10.16).

Less than 48 hours to go before the Sabah Cube Open 2018 (SCO18) is happening!

Here are some important things you need to know before the competition day:

Make sure you already read the WCA Regulations as it is compulsory for all competitors, especially the first-timer. Click here if you HAVEN'T READ yet.
Check out the latest news related to SCO18 ( eg. latest schedule, group summary and so on) thru the WCA Website, MYCA website or our official Facebook page: Sabah Cube Open.
Don't forget to LIKE the page if you have Facebook!
You are advised to come on-time during the competition day. If you are late, do contact the organiser ( Hanafi :016-922 4458 ) or the delegate ( Leow Yi Jun :012-735 2278 ) with valid reason as you will be disqualify if fail to do so.
Please be informed that foods are not provided for competitor during the competition as it was not included in the registration fee.
Bring your own cube during competition day. Always stay alert with your stuff especially in the public as we will not responsible for any missing item.

Disclaimer: If the number of competitors from Sabah who qualitfy for the Top 10 final round are more than 4 , then the result from final round will be used as podium for Sabahan Catagory. But if the number of competitors from Sabah are at most 2, then the result from second round will be used.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
