Welcome to Sandnes Open 2021! The competition will use almost the same format as the Sandnes competitions from previous years, but this year there will be some fewer events.
The competition is free to attend for everyone - even for the competitiors. If you're not part of this competition or accompanying a competitor, please refrain from coming to the competition so we can adhere to safety policies.Norsk:

Please be careful of COVID-19 and rules regarding it. WCA have released a document (Safety Policy) detailing how competitions will be handeled regarding the virus, which we will abide by and we expect you to also follow.
Do NOT come if you have symptoms of the virus, or if you have been around anyone with the virus close to the competition.
There will be a maximum of 1 guest per competitor.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
