Please read the information section of the FMC Canada competition page here.

FMC?
FMC is "Fewest moves" where competitors have 1 hour to find and write down the shortest solution to a given scramble. We will be running a short tutorial at the start of the day. Please be familiar with the FMC section of the WCA regulations.

Blindfolded?
We will have a short judging tutorial for blindfolded events as it is quite different than the sighted events. Please be familiar with the Blindfolded section of the WCA regulations.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
