O Schoolmark Open está de volta! Com algumas mudanças e surpresas, porém com a mesma atmosfera que tornou as primeiras edições tão boas!
Algumas informações importantes:
* É imprescindível entender as regras, conforme Regulamento da WCA
* A competição é aberta a qualquer pessoa que deseje participar, indepentende de idade, nacionalidade, ou velocidade de resolução.
* Além disso, a competição também é aberta a acompanhantes e espectadores.

Visando ao bom andamento da competição, ao se inscrever em uma categoria, você se compromete também a ajudar como juiz ou embaralhador nessa categoria (conforme previsto nas regras da WCA). Dessa forma, a competição se torna autossustentável, e as atividades são divididas entre todos os participantes, não ficando pesado para apenas alguns. Foram feitos pelo menos dois grupos em cada modalidade. Em um dos grupos você compete e no outro ajuda a embaralhar ou sendo juiz dos competidores.

Atenção: Esta competição terá limite de competitores. Inscreva-se somente se você tem certeza que irá participar.

Schoolmark Open is back! With a few changes and surprises, but with the same atmosphere that made the first editions so great!
Some important information:
* It's essential to understand the rules, as in the WCA Regulations
* The competition is open to any person that wants to participate, independent of age, nationality, or solving speed.
* Besides that, the competition is also open to guests and spectators.

For the competition to run smoothly, by registering for an event, you agree to help as judge, scrambler or runner for this event (as it's said in WCA rules). This way, the competition turns out to be self-supported, and the activities are divided between all competitors, and not charging anyone in excess. Every event will be divided in at least two groups in first round, in a group you'll compete, and in another you'll help as staff.

Attention: This competition has a competitor limit. Sign up only if you are sure you will attend.

Entries must be paid through Stripe in the Register tab.

The base registration fee for this competition is R$30 (Brazilian Real).
If your registration is cancelled before Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:59 AM UTC you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:59 AM UTC.
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 2:59 AM UTC on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Schoolmark's Cafe, called Hello Café, will be serving lunch on both competition days, for the price of R$25,00 (beverages not included). The offered dishes are as follows:
- Rice, beans, french fries, salad, and a grilled protein (chicken, rump steak or omelet)
- Chicken stroganoff (rice, salad, stroganoff, and shoestring fries)
- Gnocchi bolognese or al sugo (with salad)
If you and/or any guests would like to have lunch at the venue, please email the organization team.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
