There is a competitor limit of 120 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is €2 (Euro).
If your registration is cancelled before Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 12:01 PM UTC you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 PM UTC.
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 12:00 PM UTC on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of €2 (Euro).
Any spectator can attend for free.

LES INSCRIPTIONS SONT TRAITÉES MANUELLEMENT et peuvent donc prendre un peu de temps, merci de votre patience.
Les inscriptions sont acceptées dans l'ordre où elles nous arrivent complètes, ce qui signifie :
-Pour les personnes qui n'ont pas besoin de payer, nous prenons en compte l'heure à laquelle la personne s'est inscrite.
-Pour les personnes qui doivent payer, nous prenons en compte l'heure a laquelle la personne a payé.

Notez que vous resterez sur liste d'attente tant que votre inscription n'est pas valide. Si vous êtes dans le cas où un paiement est nécessaire, notez bien que vous ne pourrez quittez la liste d'attente que si votre paiement est effectué et que le nombre limite de participant·e·s n'est pas atteint (ou que quelqu'un se désiste).
Nous rembourserons les personnes qui seront restées sur liste d'attente après la compétition.

N'hésitez pas à faire un don lors de votre inscription pour soutenir l'AFS afin de permettre à cette dernière d'acheter et de renouveler le matériel français.

Before the competition, the organisation team may send you one or multiple emails. Please answer them in time. Not answering to these mails might make us delete your registration, if there is a waiting list.

If you're an AFS member or if it's your first competition, the competition is free, you don't need to pay online, just wait for us to accept your registration.

REGISTRATIONS ARE HANDLED MANUALLY and can take a bit of time, thank you for your patience.
Registrations are accepted in the order that the registration is completed, which means :
-For the people who don't need to pay, we take into accound the time where the person registered.
-For the people who need to pay, we take into account the time where the person paid.

You will stay on the waiting list until your registration is valid. If you are required to pay an entrance fee, please note that your registration will be eligible to leave the waiting list only if you've paid and the competitors limit has not been reached (or if someone deletes their registration).
We will refund your registration if you did not leave the waiting list after the competition.

Do not hesitate to make a donation in order to support the AFS and allow it to buy and renew the French equipment.

Philipp Weyer won with an average of 6.99 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Sebastian Weyer finished second (7.31) and Alexandre Carlier finished third (7.45).

Des lingettes et du gel hydroalcooliques seront disponibles à plusieurs endroits dans la salle.

The organizing team will comply with the rules in force on French territory and in the town of Sézanne on the date of the competition.
This may include (but is not limited to):

Wearing a mask in the room;
Strict respect for barrier gestures;
Presentation of a vaccination or health pass;
The need to eat or drink outside the room.
Access to the room will obviously not be possible if you are positive for COVID-19 or contact cases without proof of a recent negative test.

Pay attention to emails from the organisation team regarding the final measures to be followed for your visit.

Wet wipes and gel will be available at several locations in the room.

If it's gonna be your first competition, here's what you need to know:

You must register or login on the WCA website.
You must register to the competition (tab "Register" on the competition page).
You DO NOT need to pay the 2€ fee, the French Association will handle your registration.
You must read the WCA regulations (translations are here).
We strongly advise you to come see the tutorial
You must bring an identification paper (ID, passport, driving license) the day of the competition or scan and send it by email before the competition.

The AFS wrote some tutorials but they are in French only…

You must read and accept the WCA Regulations.
You must register online by clicking on "Register" in the left block. If you've competed in a WCA competition before and you're not a member of the AFS (French Speedcubing Association), your registration will be considered valid once you paid the 2€ fees.
Do not hesitate to ask your questions before and during the competition.
We'll ask for an ID if it's your first competition.
Please send us an email if you cannot participate after all.

Les bénéfices de ces ventes serviront à financer la compétition. Tous les bénéfices supplémentaires iront à l'Association Française de Speedcubing.

For lunch, sandwiches, crisps and cakes will be available for purchase.

Il n'y a malheureusement pas de transport en commun menant à Sézanne.
La voiture reste le meilleur moyen d'y accéder. (1h15 de reims / 1h45 de Paris)
Cependant la ville peut organiser des navettes entre Sézanne et Romilly-sur-Seine (gare la plus proche) le samedi matin et dimanche soir.
La faisabilité de cette navette et le prix dépendra du nombre d'interessés. Vous receverez un email à ce sujet.

Il y aura la possibilité de dormir dans le gymnase le vendredi et samedi soir. Vous recevrez un email concernant ce point.
Il y a également quelques hôtels et Airbnbs disponibles.

Unfortunately, there is no public transport to Sézanne.
The car remains the best way to get there. (1h15 from Reims / 1h45 from Paris)
However, the city can organize shuttles between Sézanne and Romilly-sur-Seine (nearest train station) on Saturday morning and Sunday evening.
The feasibility of this shuttle and the price will depend on the number of people interested. You will receive an email about this.

There will be the possibility of sleeping for free in the gym on Friday and Saturday evenings. You will receive an email regarding this point.
There are also a few hotels and Airbnbs available.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
