Important info

All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA's regulations before attending an official competition. We recommend you to watch watch this video to get a better understanding of how solving in competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

All new competitors should bring a valid ID. To be allowed to compete as a new competitor, you need to be able to identify yourself and the information you provided us when you registred for this competition. A passport is a good example of a valid ID since it shows all necessary information, such as name, nationality and date of birth.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 15 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the registration. It is however always recommended to be at the venue at least 15 minutes before your next event, since the schedule may differ slightly from what was previously announced.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators should remain 1,5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done. Otherwise, you might get disqualified.

Check your e-mail. If there is any urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Viktig info

Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA regulations. Deltagare förväntas känna till WCAs reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Vi rekommenderar att man kollar på denna video för att få bättre koll på hur tävlingsproceduren går till. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Alla nya tävlande bör ha med ett giltigt ID. För att få tävla som ny deltagare måste du kunna identifiera dig själv och visa att den information du gav oss när du registrerade dig för den här tävlingen är korrekt. Ett pass är ett bra exempel på ett giltigt ID eftersom det visar all nödvändig information, såsom namn, nationalitet och födelsedatum.

Du måste vara redo att tävla när din grupp startar. Du behöver vara på plats i lokalen under de grenar där du planerar att delta. Du behöver dock vara på plats i lokalen senast 15 minuter innan din första gren ska börja, så du hinner fullfölja registreringen. Vi rekommenderar dock alltid att ni är på plats i lokalen minst 15 minuter innan er nästa gren, då schemat kan variera något jämfört med vad som först var planerat.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.

Publik måste befinna sig 1,5 meter ifrån tävlingsstationerna och tävlingsområdet. Annars finns risken att man stör andra tävlande eller tävlingsproceduren.

Man får inte prata om blandningarna innan man tävlat färdigt i pågående gren. Annars finns risken att man blir diskvalificerad.

Håll koll på er e-mail. Om det finns information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta ske via e-mail, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er e-mail regelbundet.

Registration

You can register for this competition here. We will not accept any registrations on the spot.

The registration is not considered complete until you have paid the registration fee of 100 SEK. Payment is done through the WCA website, this will show up automatically right after you register.
If your name doesn't appear on the competitor list 24 hours after paying, contact the organizer. (Contact information under the "General info" tab.)

If you have registered but then can't go to the competition, please send an e-mail telling us this as that will leave your spot for somebody else, and you will also get a refund of 100% of the registration fee as long as it's done before February 29th.

Registration will close February 28th, or when the competitor limit of 40 people is reached.

Anmälan

Du kan anmäla dig till tävlingen här. Vi kommer inte acceptera några anmälningar på plats.

Anmälan räknas inte som klar förrän du har betalat anmälningsavgiften på 100 SEK. Betalning sker på WCA-sidan, detta kommer fram automatiskt efter att du har anmält dig.
Om du inte finns med på deltagarlistan 24 timmar efter du har betalat, kontakta arrangören. (Kontaktuppgifter hittar du under "General info"-fliken.)

Om du har anmält dig men sen inte längre kan komma på tävlingen, maila arrangören och informera om detta. Det lämnar din plats för någon annan, och du får också tillbaka 100% av anmälningsavgiften, så länge du gör det innan 29e februari.

Anmälningen stänger 28e februari, eller när deltagargränsen på 40 personer är nådd.

New competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Be aware that many of the popular events won't be held at this competition, but anyone who wishes to compete is still very welcome to do so. Make sure to read through all tabs above as there is a lot of important information there.
If you've never competed before, you should bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's licence, to verify your birth date and nationality. If the competitor does not have an ID, a parent can confirm this information.

We highly recommend watching this video to get a good understanding of how solving in competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware of different penalties and how to avoid them.

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least 20 minutes before your first event.
Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from live.worldcubeassociation.org, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

Nya tävlande

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Var medveten om att flera av de populära grenarna inte kommer hållas på denna tävling, men alla som vill delta är fortfarande mycket välkomna att göra det.
Det är viktigt att du läser igenom alla flikar här på sidan, eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.
Om du aldrig tävlat förut bör du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort, för att intyga när du är född och din nationalitet. Om den tävlande inte har ett ID kan en förälder bekräfta dessa uppgifter.

Vi rekommenderar starkt att du kollar på den här videon så du bättre förstår hur det går till att lösa i tävling. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.
Det är också viktigt att du läser igenom WCA-reglerna så du får en bättre förståelse för vilka olika tidsstraff du kan få på lösningarna, och hur du undviker dem.

Travel

Car: The adress of the venue is Församlingshem, 57197 Forserum. There is free parking available right outside the venue.

Train: It's easy to get to Forserum by train, as it's only one stop from Nässjö, where many long distance trains stop. Tickets can be booked at sj.se. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk from the train station to the venue.

Resa

Bil: Adressen till lokalen är Församlingshem, 57197 Forserum. Det finns gratis parkering precis utanför lokalen.

Tåg: Det är enkelt att ta sig till Forserum med tåg, eftersom det är endast en station från Nässjö, där flera långdistans-tåg stannar. Biljetter kan bokas på sj.se. Det tar 15-20 minuter att gå från tågstationen till lokalen.

Accomodation

Floor accomodation

It will be possible for you to sleep on the floor of the venue without an additional cost. You do however need to book a spot. Do that through this form. Remember to bring your sleeping stuff, such as a pillow, sleeping bag and something soft to lay on, for example an air mattress. We will not provide any of this. Breakfast will not be provided, but there is a kitchen with a fridge where you can store your breakfast over night. There are unfortunately no showers available at the venue.

Hotels and hostels

Since Forserum is such a small town, there are no hotels nor hostels there. The closest hotel is "Hotell Högland" in Nässjö. You also have the option to stay at a hotel or hostel in Huskvarna or Jönköping, which is just a little bit further. You can compare different hotels through sites such as booking.com. The competition schedule has mostly been adjusted to the train schedule from Jönköping, Huskvarna and Nässjö so that it will be possible to commute from these cities if you would want to.

Boende

Golvförläggning

Det är möjligt för dig att sova på golvet i lokalen utan extra kostnad. Du behöver dock boka en plats. Gör det genom detta formulär. Kom ihåg att ta med dina sovgrejer, som en kudde, sovsäck och något mjukt att ligga på, till exempel en luftmadrass. Vi kommer inte stå för något av det. Inte heller frukost kommer vi stå för, men det finns ett kök med kylskåp där du kan förvara din frukost över natten. Det finns tyvärr inga duschar i lokalen.

Hotell och vandrarhem

Eftersom Forserum är ett så pass litet samhälle finns det inga hotell eller vandrarhem där. Det närmaste hotellet är "Hotell Högland" i Nässjö. Du har också möjligheten att sova på ett hotell eller vandrarhem i huskvarna eller nässjö, vilket är bara lite längre bort. Du kan jämföra olika hotell genom sidor som exempelvis booking.com. Tävlingens schema har huvudsakligen anpassats till tågens tidtabell från Jönköping, Huskvarna och Nässjö för att möjliggöra pendling från dessa städer om så önskas.

Food

Forserum's only restaurant, Forserumskrogen, which is a pizzeria, is located right next to the train station. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk there from the venue. If you participate in Multi-Blind, we advice you to order through phone a couple minutes after you have started walking to make sure that you get back in time and have time to eat. The phone number to the pizzeria is 0380- 204 20. You could also go by car if you have that possibility.

The only supermarket in Forserum is Coop, which is a 15-20 minute walk from the venue. Coop is open from 07:00 to 22:00 every day.

There is a kitchen in the venue which should have everything you need to cook your own food. There is for example a microwave, an oven, a fridge, frying pans, plates, cutlery etc. Remember to clean up after yourself!

Mat

Forserums enda restaurang, Forserumskrogen, som är en pizzeria, ligger precis bredvid tågstationen. Det tar 15-20 minuter att gå dit från lokalen. Om du deltar i Multi-Blind rekommenderar vi dig att beställa via telefon ett par minuter efter att du börjat gå för att försäkra att du kommer tillbaka i tid och att du hinner äta. Telefonnumret till pizzerian är 0380-204 20. Du kan också ta bilen om du har den möjligheten.

Den enda mataffären i Forserum är Coop. Det tar 15-20 minuter att gå dit från lokalen. Coop är öppet 07:00 till 22:00 varje dag.

Det finns ett kök i lokalen som borde ha allt du behöver för att laga din egen mat. Det finns till exempel en mikrovågsugn, en ugn, ett kylskåp, stekpannor, tallrikar, bestick osv. Glöm inte att städa efter dig!
