VENUE
The competition will take place upstairs on the East wing of campus in Cenovus Common (since Cenovus Common is on the second floor, it is not shown on this map, but the location is directly above the Visual Arts area). Direct access to Cenovus Common is through the East Entrance, which leads directly to the staircase up to the competition. Alternatively, use the Main Entrance, turn left and head straight down the East wing. Turn left at the Nova Learning Common. Taking the next right leads down a hallway to a staircase which will take you up to the competition.
PARKING
Please park in the A and F parking lots highlighted in the map below (note, this map is oriented with north at top, wheras the campus map above has north to the bottom...so this may be confusing). We will have plenty of signs set out to help you find parking and the entrance to the venue.
FOOD
The Red Deer Farmer's Market is on the RDP Campus on Saturdays from 8am-12:30pm, so there are plenty of food trucks and vendors right on site to choose from until around noon. Starbucks is also available inside the RDP building. Otherwise, RDP is within 5 minute drive to restaurants such as McDonald's, Wendy's, A&W, Freshii, Dairy Queen, Denny's, Tim Horton's, etc.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
