- Information
Competitors may bring at most one guest. This will be checked at the entrance of the competition. No external spectators are allowed, only those coming with a confirmed competitor will be allowed in the venue.
All attendees (competitors + guests) must show valid proof of at least one of the following two requirements to be allowed in the venue:
1) They are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. To clarify, an individual is only considered fully vaccinated if they have received their second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or their only dose of a single-dose vaccine (J&J) more than two weeks before the competition. Any dose received after Saturday, April 8th is insufficient for entrance to the competition.
OR
2) They tested negative for COVID-19 within 96 hours (4 days) of the competition. The date when the test is conducted is what matters, not the date when the results are received. Any test conducted earlier than Tuesday, April 18th is insufficient for entrance to the competition.

Due to venue constraints, the Skewb Final for this competition is tentative, meaning if we are running behind schedule, the round will be removed and the first round results will be final. If the competition runs far ahead of schedule, we may add rounds/a round of some events, but this is unlikely.
This competition is located inside a church gymnasium; please enter through the doors in the image attached.
There's ample parking behind the church, at no extra cost.
For those traveling from further away, please leave ample travel time due to the early start to this competition.
Lunch has been made intentionally shorter than usual, as it is adjacent to the 3x3 Blindfolded event, a less popular event, so competitors not competing in it will have more time for lunch. Those who are competing in blind, please be mindful of the schedule.

We reserve the right to refuse your attendance if one of the two above options is not presented.
- Competitors may bring at most one guest. No external spectators are allowed, only those coming with a confirmed competitor will be allowed in the venue. Spectators will have an upstairs viewing balcony of the competition.
- Masks are HIGHLY recommended but optional.
- If you have symptoms related to COVID-19 such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc. do not attend this competition.
- If you have had a positive COVID-19 test or prolonged exposure to someone with the virus within 14 days prior to the competition, do not attend.
- The competition may be cancelled if the COVID-19 situation in New Jersey and/or the US gets worse.
- By registering for this competition, you agree that you understand all the information presented in this tab, will abide by all the COVID-19 restrictions placed on this competition, and acknowledge the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other disease in attending an event of this scale.
For First-Time Competitors
All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a basic overview of the rules.

For All Competitors
When you arrive, you will receive a card with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging/scrambling assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for. The card will look like the following:
If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.
Registration Process
Before You Register
All prospective registrants need a WCA account. New competitors can create their own WCA account by clicking here and entering the required information.
How to Register Online
Prospective competitors register by:
1. Signing into their WCA account;
2. Clicking "Register" on the left side of this webpage, selecting the events they would like to compete in, and submitting their registration;
3. Paying the registration fee of $20.00. (The registration fee is the same regardless of how many events are selected.) Your registration is not complete until you have paid the registration fee.
The competitor limit for this competition is 100. The list of approved competitors can be found by clicking "Competitors" on the left side of this webpage. If there are already 100 competitors on that list, it means the competition is full, and any future registrants will be placed on the waitlist.
Competitors MUST register and pay online in order to compete. No at-the-door registrations or payments will be accepted.
Any requested changes to registration before 11:59 PM EDT on Saturday, April 15 will be honored. Your registration is not complete until your name shows up on the list.
How to Pay for Registration Online
Payment is processed through Stripe. Click on the "Register" tab on the left side of the webpage to register and pay all in one place! You can start the payment process by clicking "Pay your fees with card."
Refunds
Approved competitors who cancel their registration before 11:59 PM EDT on Saturday, April 15 are eligible for a refund for half (50%) of their registration cost. After this date, no refund requests will be honored. Attempting to file a chargeback for the registration fee will lead to being blacklisted from future WCA events.
Waitlist Information
We will be keeping a waitlist for this competition. To secure a place on the waitlist once 100 competitors have paid, simply pay the registration fee. If a competitor emails us to drop out before 11:59 PM EDT on Saturday, April 15, you will be notified if you are the next competitor on the waitlist. After that deadline, all remaining competitors on the waitlist will be emailed letting them know they did not get off the waitlist and will be fully refunded.
We will be using WCA Live to track the live results of this competiton.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
