Swisscubing FMC 2017 is a Rubik's Cube competition organised by Swisscubing and delegated by Reto Bubendorf.

With this competition we'd like to give local competitors a chance to get a result in mean of 3 for fewest moves.
We also warmly invite competitors who come from abroad to give this event an exciting international mixture.

Results of the championship will be added to the official WCA World Rankings.

Be aware about the official notation of this event, in order to avoid a "did not finish" !
Any puzzle brand may be used during the competition, as long as it complies with the WCA regulations.

Ecublens is located in south-western Switzerland, near Lausanne.

Travel by car:

10 minutes from Lausanne, 1 hour from Geneva and Bern, 2 hours from Basel, Zurich and Lyon.

Travel by public transport:

The EPFL has a stop on the metro line 1, it is also accessible using bus.
From Lausanne : you should change metro line at "Flon".
From Renens : the metro goes directly to the EPFL.
From Morges : the bus goes directly to the EPFL.

Rendez-vous à l'esplanade de l'EPFL à 8h45. Soyez là à l'heure étant donné qu'il faut une carte étudiante EPFL pour entrer dans le bâtiment CO dans lequel nous ferons la compétition. Pour ceux qui y ont accès, vous pouvez directement vous diriger vers la salle CO 010.

L'inscription indiquée sur le site est de 5.- CHF, cependant pour des raisons de simplicité nous acceptons aussi 5 €.

Nous proposons d'aller tous ensemble en ville par la suite, plus précisement au bowland Flon dans le centre-ville (2 parties, de 18h30 à 20h30, avec pizza inclue pour 22.-). Merci de faire un retour rapide si vous êtes intéressés à venir pour nous faciliter la réservation des pistes.

Pour tous les compétiteurs : faites particulièrement attention à la notation, tout mouvement non valable rend la solution entière DNF. À l'adresse des nouveaux compétiteurs : répondez à ce message avec une copie de votre carte d'identité (ou amenez la à la compétition) afin de nous permettre de vérifier les coordonnées.

8h45 at l'esplanade de l'EPFL. Be there at time as you need a student card from the EPFL to enter the building "CO" in which we will do the competition. For those who have that access, you can directly move to the room CO 010.

The registration fee is set at 5.- CHF, however we do also accept 5 € as cause of simplicity.

We propose you to join us at the bowland Flon in the city center (2 games with pizza included for 22.-, from 18:30 to 20h30). Please reply rapidly if you are interested to take part, in order to make the reservation more precise.

Concerning all competitors : please pay special attention to the notation, if only one move is not correct, the whole solve will be a DNF. As for new competitors, reply to this message with a copy of your ID attached (or bring it at the competition) since we have to verify your specifications.
