Rules

For First-Time Competitors

Please be familiarized with the WCA Regulations, read this competition tutorial, watch this video about the solving process, and finally this video about judging rules. After 5 minutes and 30 seconds, the judging video has no relevance to our competition. We will go over the most important rules again in the newcomers' tutorial at 8:30 AM.

For All Competitors

All competitors are required to judge in at least one event they are competing in.

Travel

PLEASE BE WARY OF ONE-WAY STREETS!!!
Owensboro has many awkward roads, especially downtown by the river. Pay extra attention to the road signs to ensure you aren't driving on the wrong side of the street!

There are several hotels within a 5-minute drive of the venue:

Hampton Inn Owensboro South
Fairfield Inn by Marriot
Best Western Plus
Super 8
Comfort Suites

There are other hotels in the area, which are readily viewable through Google Maps.

The parking lot is spacious and contains ample room for all vehicles, no parking fee needed.

The arrow in this picture leads through the wrong side of the street. Though adventurous, we encourage you to drive on the correct side of the road when approaching the venue.
