Prospective competitors register by:
1. Signing into their WCA account;
2. Clicking "Register" on the left side of this webpage, selecting the events they would like to compete in, and submitting their registration;
3. Paying the registration cost of $30.00. (The registration cost is the same, regardless of how many events are selected.)
Your registration is not complete until you have paid the registration fee.

PLEASE NOTE: If you paid but don't see your name on the registration list within 48 hours of payment (assuming 80 competitors aren't on the competitor list already), please email the organizers. Organizers still have to manually move competitors to the approved competitor list following payment.

Waitlist Information

We will be keeping a waitlist for this competition. Once the 80th competitor has paid, this waitlist will begin. To secure a place on the waitlist once 80 competitors have paid, simply pay the registration fee. If a competitor emails us to drop out before this time, you will be notified if you are the next competitor on the waitlist.

Once the deadline to request a refund has passed, all remaining competitors on the waitlist will be emailed letting them know they did not get off the waitlist and will be refunded.

This competition will be sponsored by The Cubicle! Gift card prizes will be given out to all who place in the top 3 of each event. For 3x3x3, the third prize is $10, second prize is $15, and first prize is $20. For all other events, third prize is $5, second prize is $7, and first prize is $10.

The deadline for making it off the waiting list has now passed and the competitor list is set.
Waitlist

At this competition, we will be using groups to sort competitors competing, judging, running, and scrambling assignments.

Each competitor is assigned to a group for when they should compete, judge, run, and scramble. During the competition, we will announce when new groups are being called up. If we say "Calling 5x5 Group 1", that means that if you have an assignment for 5x5 group 1, you should go to your assigned position. If you're competing in that group, you will drop off your cube at the scrambling station, and go and wait in the waiting area until your name is called. Groups for second and third rounds will be based on placements in previous rounds and we will announce them when the results are entered.

Groups

This link gives easier access and times for when you should do your assignments.

We are not allowing spectators outside of the ones with official competitors.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
