We are pleased to announce that Tunas Open returns with a new edition, and this time it's going back to its roots, to the place where it first originated. This iconic competition brings together the best cubers to face exciting challenges and showcase their skills.

Don't miss the opportunity to attend this new edition of Tunas Open SLP 2024.

This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association event. Therefore, all competitors must be familiar with and understand the WCA Regulations.

Create a WCA account here if you don't have one.
If this is not your first competition, associate your WCA ID to your WCA account here.
Register for this competition here.
There is a competitor limit of 100 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $150 (Mexican Peso).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

It is essential that you read all the information and procedures carefully for you registration in the tab How to register? is the detailed information to register.
Your registration will not be complete until you have completed all the steps of registration.
Keep in mind: the registrations are manually approved, soyour registration will not get approved immediately, but trust that we will keep the aprovements in the arrival order.
If you have any doubts or problems with your registration, communicate with the team organizer via e-mail
Keep an eye on your email, including the SPAM folder, for any news or updates on the competition. Once the registration is completed, the schedules can be modified or updated.
Based on the WCA regulations, all competitors must be available to scramble or judge.

3.- El dia 8 de julio, registrate y selecciona las categorias a participar	3.- On May 8th register and select your events
4.- Realiza el pago por Stripe con una tarjeta de crédito o débito. La tarifa base de esta competencia es de $150 pesos mexicanos.	4.- Make the payment via Stripe with a credit or debit card. The rate of this competition is MXN $150.

* Si se ha alcanzado el límite de 100 competidores, aún puedes registrarte y pagar la cuota de la competencia para asegurar un lugar en la lista de espera.	if the limit of 100 competitors has been reached, you can still register and pay the competition fee to secure a spot on the waitlist
* Hasta el 22 de julio, cualquier competidor puede cancelar su registro y permitir que la primera persona en la lista de espera ocupe su lugar.	Until July 22th, any competitor can cancel their registration and allow the first person on the waitlist to take their place.
* Después del 22 de Junio, se les eliminará de la lista de espera y todos lo competidores en ella recibirán un rembolso del 100%.	After June 22th, they will be removed from the waitlist and all competitors on it will receive a 100% refund.
* Estar en la lista de espera no asegura de ninguna manera obtener un lugar en la competencia. Ningún competidor en lista de espera podrá participar los días de la competencia.	Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in the competition in any way. No competitor on the waitlist will be able to participate on the competition days.
* Si estás en lista de espera puedes solicitar el reembolso del 100% de tu pago en cualquier momento por correo.	If you are on the waitlist, you can request a 100% refund of your payment at any time by mail.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
