How to reach the venue:
BY TRAIN
There are three important train stations: Torino Porta Nuova, Torino Porta Susa and Torino Lingotto. If you arrive in Torino Lingotto, the station is very close to the venue, you can walk there (max 10 min.). If you arrive in Torino Porta Nuova or Torino Porta Susa, you can use another train to reach Torino Lingotto or the undergound to reach the venue. If you use train, you can check the departures on Trenitalia.com (www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en). If you use the underground, see below.
BY UNDERGROUND
Take the undergound (there is only one metro line, it's impossible to take wrong one) and go to Lingotto (this station is different from the train station). Once arrived there, you can walk to the venue (max 20 min.), or take the bus n.18, direction Caio Mario, and get off at Trofarello.
Registration fee is 10€.
You can pay cash at the venue.
We will use the registration fees to cover the equipment costs and the rent of the venue.
The competition is officially recognized by the World Cube Association, therefore competitors are required to know the WCA regulations.
All the competitors must be available to help during the competition. This means that if required, they'll have to act as judges or scramblers.
During the competition competitors will be divided into groups.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
