Once you're in the building, you can take the stairs or elevator up to Forbes Hall (see Image 2 below). The check-in desk will be on the left side of the hallway.

Please find you groups and judging assignments here: https://www.competitiongroups.com/competitions/WaterlooWinter2025. These "groups" are when you are assigned to compete, judge, and/or scramble during an event you are registered for.

Per Regulations 1e2 and 1f2, all competitors must be available to help judge and scramble. If you're unsure how to judge, please review the WCA Regulations, watch this video, or ask one of the WCA Delegates at the competition.

Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start of your first group and be ready to compete five minutes before it is scheduled to begin. Showing up excessively late to your group may result in not being allowed to compete in that event.

Wi-Fi

Food

The nearest food option is a small café inside the building.

There is a wider selection of food options at the food court in Conestoga Mall, which is a 7-minute drive from RIM Park.

This is my first competition! What should I expect?
