The Princeton Fall Open 2017 is open to all competitors. Competitors must familiarize themselves with the WCA Regulations found on this site.
Their is a flat fee of $25 to register for this competition via Stripe. Registration fees must be paid in advance in order for your registration to be considered final. There will be no refunds. Registration fees cover the cost of the venue and a special Princeton Fall 2017 poster. Princeton students are free and should comment with a note about that when they register.
There will be a competitor limit of 100 competitors. Registration will open on 8/4/17. When our limit is reached, you may be added to the waiting list in case some people choose to drop out later.
There will be no at the door registrations. No exceptions whatsoever.
If you would like to pre-order a Princeton Fall 2017 t-shirt, as we have done for each competition in the past, we will send out an email to all competitors shortly after registration closes to set that up.

Keaton Ellis won with an average of 7.87 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Daniel Karnaukh finished second (8.01) and Samuel Fang finished third (9.20).

The expected cutoffs and time limits for this competition are listed below. We will make every effort to hold true to these, but they are subject to change based on the schedule. Cutoffs (the first number) indicate what a competitor needs to complete a solve under within their first two solves in order to recieve an average of 5. Time limits indicate the point at which an attempt will be stopped.

The venue is the Frist Campus Center Multipurpose Room, which can be found on the bottom floor of the Frist Campus Center.

In short, visitors may access and park in any numbered lots on Western Way/Ivy Lane. They are first come, first serve. The closest lots are lots 26, 14, 25, 4, 5, and they are all free parking.
This competition is sponsored by TheCubicle.us. They will be vending and providing prizes.
Thanks for registering. We have met our competitor limit and registration closed after 100 entrants (in about a 20 minute span). The waitlist is also closed.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
