Please note that this is not a standard competition, and the majority of the events held here are unofficial.
This means that, with the exception of 2x2 and 3x3, any results obtained will not be stored in the WCA database, but rather at cubingcontests.com. Please read the competitor responsibilities tab and the unofficial events tab to understand what you will need to do and know during the competition, as well as how to register for unofficial events.

There is a competitor limit of 50 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $23 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $30 (United States Dollar).
Any spectator can attend for free.
To register for unofficial events, you must first register for at least one of the two official events here on the WCA site, as you would for any competition. Then, follow the instructions in the unofficial events tab to register for unofficial events.
Note that to change your registered events in advance (official or unofficial), you must contact the organization team. However, you may also change your events during the competition.

Competitions rely on volunteers to happen! All the staff at competitions are volunteers, and we need your help to have a successful competition. Helping out by running and judging is invaluable and keeps the competition on schedule. Everyone can help, this includes first time competitors and even siblings and parents! Staffing is easy and we are happy to help get you started, and it is a great way to make time fly!
Before the competition, you will receive assignments to compete, as well as to staff (judging or possibly scrambling). You are required to show up for these staffing assignments unless you communicate with the organizers of the competition prior to the assignment. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from one or multiple events.

In addition to 2x2 and 3x3, we will be holding unofficial events through Cubing Contests at this competition. Results will be recorded there and uploaded to their database after the competition. You will be able to find live rankings during the competition here, and can read the event details here (note that these two links may not work until closer to the competition). That said, the event information is also listed below, in order of their place on the schedule.

Regulations
Since these events are not WCA-sanctioned, the WCA regulations are insufficient to govern "official" solving of them. We will be using the Cubing Contests set of regulations, which you can find here. We also have a few anticipated FAQs below. If you have specific questions about how an event will work or how we will handle different situations not covered below, please contact the organization team.
2x2x3:
Acceptable misalignment on 2x2 sides is 45 degrees, and 90 degrees on 2x3 sides.
Mirror Blocks:
The cube MUST NOT have a logo.
All sides must have distinct thicknesses.
All stickers/pieces must be the same color with no distinguishing features.
3x3x3 Double One-Handed:
Each puzzle is treated as a separate One-Handed puzzle. That means that each puzzle must be solved with a different hand, and any part of the body coming into contact with a puzzle other than the hand solving it could incur a DNF penalty (by judge discretion).
Kilominx:
The puzzle MUST NOT have distinguishable (e.g. different colored) center caps. If your puzzle comes with these, you must remove them before the round.
2-Person 2-7 Relay:
There is a 15-second inspection period.
Both competitors must start the timer (e.g. one hand on the timer each).
Once a puzzle has been touched by one competitor, it cannot be touched by the other competitor (penalty: DNF).
The competitor to finish the last puzzle must stop the timer by themselves.
Registration
To register for unofficial events, first register for the competition here on the WCA site. Once you have an accepted registration to this competition (we're checking!), then fill out the Google Form at the bottom of this tab to sign up for unofficial events. For 2-Person 2-7 Relay, you must also fill out the partner selection form (your partner must also select you!)
Note that by signing up for unofficial events, you agree to follow the unofficial event regulations as listed at cubingcontests.com. You also agree to fulfill any judging or scrambling assignments given to you for unofficial events, and understand that failing to do so may result in disqualification from the competition as a whole. We want to have a good time solving some unusual events, and we need everyone's help to make the competition run smoothly.

For those of you new to cubing, welcome! We just ask that you know a couple things before coming to compete...
First, please be familiar with the WCA Regulations, found here.
Here are some frequently asked questions:
Q: Are there any restrictions on competing?
A: Nope! Anyone of any skill can compete in this competition, including first-timers. As long as you know how to solve the cube, go ahead and sign up!
Q: Do spectators have to pay?
A: No! All spectators are let into building for free. We do ask for you to be respectful of our finite venue space - please keep your guests to a reasonable number.
Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: Yes! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. We heavily discourage borrowing or sharing other people's cubes at the competition.
Q: How do I find results?
A: At this competition, 2x2 and 3x3 results will posted on the WCA page a couple of days after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to wca.link/live to find live standings. Both live and final results for unofficial events will be on cubingcontests.com.
Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: When you register, make sure you have paid the registration fee. Afterwards, your registration must then be manually accepted, so please wait at least 24 hours before contacting us. You should receive an email when your registration is accepted.
Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can cube!
Q: Are there age divisions?
A: No! All competitors are on an equal playing field.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
